First time trying Caps after seeing so many good reviews from Vero Beach Neighborhood and they did not disappoint! April was our server and she was the best! Even with the dinner rush we still got our food at a reasonable time and April checked on us and made sure everything was good. The pizza was delicious and so was the meatball sub! Definitely recommend and for sure coming back!❤️

Great local pizza/sub shop. I tried the dry rub wing special. It didn’t disappoint. My son had the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was awesome. Jessica gave us great service. We’ll be back!

First time ordering. Called to order 5 times and let it ring and got no answer. Finally placed order online. Go to pick it up girl at counter didn’t even acknowledge me because she was on the phone, I had to tell her why I was there. She Just hands me my order without saying a word to me. To top it off pizza was room temperature and was absolutely atrocious. Not cooked all the way whatsoever. The crust tasted like raw dough and the cheese was disgusting. Would never order from this place again.

Dined in on a Friday evening with two other folks, my first visit. They had wings and I ordered a spinach calzone. Makayla let us know the ‘zone would take considerably longer than the wings which was fine. It was packed, the phone didn’t stop ringing and carryout/dashers were on repeat. The bone-in wings received high praise from everyone, the boneless might be skipped next time. The side salad was huge. Figured was at Cap’s so, pizza but it was too late for a slice (before 3pm) and I didn’t want a whole pie – so… calzone, small. Heh… small…. lol. Finished that a few nights later. Solid calzone with proper portions/ratios of cheese and spinach. The rest of the menu looks good and definitely worthy of a revisit. The two servers and their assistant were rocking it and watching the folks in the back was dizzying, well done! Certainly met and exceeded expectations for such a storied location.

Loved Shannon, our kind and super helpful waitress tonight at dinner! The food was better than I could’ve expected when we first pulled into the plaza. The place was packed and we had to wait for parking – that was the first indicator it must be GOOD FOOD. We got the garlic knots with marinara sauce and they were so buttery, cheesey and perfect – our youngest ate almost the whole serving and she’s super picky. We also ordered 10 wings, the Philly and the baked ziti. The wings were garlic Parm and their ranch is out of this world.

We WILL be back. Amazing food, service and experience!

Service was great and waitress kept our drinks filled and checked in on us. She was the shining part of this. The place had a good vibe as well.

Pizza was bland and lacking sauce.
Thou it was cooked properly for thin crust.

It would be nice if there was an option for a small personal pizza.

Ziti was also bland. But large portion as well as salad and garlic knot portion. Enough for 2 meals.

The food tasted like generic ingredients from Cheney Bros. Which seems to be what every pizza place in Vero/Sebastian uses.

There is also a 3% card fee that was not disclosed.

We had Jamie as our server and she was awesome during our dinner outing. Food came out fast, she was kind and on top of whatever we needed.

Definitely going back for more of that Lasagna Pizza they have! It’s very good.

Having recently moved from Chicago, we found Cap’s Pizza based on other reviews. So happy we did as this is now our favorite place! The food is amazing (garlic knots are to die for) and the service is top notch. Sydney, Jamie, Bonnie and April are just a few of the amazing servers! We visit at least once a week.

Great service and a fun atmosphere. Ordered some beers and their meat lovers pizza. Toppings were a plenty, outer crust was great for dipping in their homemade ranch, but the middle of the crust was soggy. I dont know if it was because it was on paper or just that there were too many toppings. Ill try their pizza again with maybe just two toppings to see if it will be a bit less soggy, but otherwise it was a great experience and loaded with all the tasty meats you’d expect on a meat lovers pizza.

I’ve had the pleasure of dining at Cap’s Pizza in Vero Beach twice now, and I can’t recommend it enough!

For the wing lovers out there, their buffalo wings are fantastic. They’re perfectly crispy, served piping hot, and have that classic buffalo flavor we all love.

The real star of the show, though, is the pizza. I tried the spinach pizza, a white pizza loaded with different cheeses and fresh spinach. The crust was delicious, and the combination of flavors was fantastic.

The atmosphere at Cap’s Pizza is casual and relaxed. They have a few tables and a small bar inside, with two additional tiny tables outside for enjoying the Florida weather. It’s definitely a “hole in the wall” kind of place, but that’s part of its charm. It feels like a hidden gem that the locals know and love.

Overall, Cap’s Pizza is a great spot for delicious wings, fantastic pizza, and a laid-back vibe. I highly recommend checking it out!
