Writing this review currently as I am sitting at the table… good food but service is pretty slow (considering there’s only 2 other customers). Good lunch taco deal: 2 tacos, chips & salsa for $7 so not too bad but I wish the experience was just a little bit better

SoKno Taco Cantina is hands down one of the best hidden gems around! We stopped in for brunch and were blown away.
The Mega Bloody Mary is worth the trip alone—loaded, flavorful, and honestly one of the best I’ve had.
For food, we tried the tamales and eggs and the Baker Creek burrito, and both were incredible. Everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and packed with flavor.
The service was top notch!
The atmosphere has that fun, laid-back vibe that makes you want to linger a little longer. Outside seating is a plus as well!
If you’re looking for great food, amazing drinks, and a spot that feels like a local treasure, this place is it. Can’t wait to go back!

I absolutely love the street tacos here and my wife adores their shrimp quesadilla. Service is always great and the atmosphere is super chill. Keep meaning to get over there too check out the Sunday brunch. Church waffles sound unreal neither of us like their rice and beans at all though. Tried them several times and just not a fan. Would be awesome if they would add refried beans to the menu and changed up their rice recipe. SoKno knows how to do the entrees though!

I went to SoKno Taco Cantina and had a great experience! I visited on a Friday night. It was busy, but there was no wait to be seated. There were lots of seating options available and a spacious outdoor area. Our food arrived in a timely manner, and tasted great! The server was friendly and very helpful with the menu. I highly recommend SoKno Taco Cantina, and can’t wait to dine here again!

Sokno Taco Cantina…THANK YOU!! I cannot express the ultimate delight and satisfaction of finally locating the coolest Mexican Cantina in Knoxville, TN!! Started my experience off immediately being greeted by Stephanie at the bar who was very knowledgeable on a few questions on drinks they offer and presented me with a NICE selection of drinks/margaritas etc with pricing points listed. To me personally, I felt and feel that is what important on a small degree when deciding to possibly budget out an experience somewhere for a dining experience or even in my case a few drinks with my girlfriend! I haven’t seen anywhere of any restaurant at all have the confidence to do that, but I feel I should share that. The Atmosphere was welcoming and low lit with chill music for a younger crowd. VERY CLEAN, bathrooms upheld above and beyond cleanliness. I asked for permission to tour the restaurant and the pics for my huge belief In support of local business. Stephanie let me roll around and take shots of the place and let me tell you…this is THE SPOT if you want to host a group outing for friends for a Tennessee Football game or any UT Sporting event! My photos below will show this claim. Outside patio was huge with enormous TV viewable from every seating angle. The nice touch outside was their Foodtruck. This showed me that not only do they have an incredible business running here, they get out to the community and offer their products to numerous areas I. The surrounding Knoxville area. It is worth any distance drive to come show your support for SoKno Taco Cantina. Experience the food, the very nice drink selection, and EXCELLENT customer service with their emphasis on making guests feel welcome here! Thank you Stephanie and the crew at SoKno!

Y’all are just below ok. I’ve gone twice. Food is meh, drinks are meh, service is less than meh. You’ll make it cause it’s knoxville and you have a cool name. our group said during our visit…we remember why we stopped coming here. Don’t try to be hip and edgy. Kristina was absolutely amazing! She was fun, attentive, and incredibly efficient—never missed a beat even when it got busy. She kept the energy up, made great drinks, and made sure everyone felt taken care of. Hands down one of the best bartenders I’ve had. Will definitely be back because of her!

There was a great vibe in SoKno. The service was great too, our server was very kind. However, the food wasn’t good. Some of our food was bland, no hard shell option, and the queso had a bad flavor. The pricing was fair.
