Victor’s was an outstanding brunch spot for a delicious, and nutritious home-cooked Cuban meal that will fill you up for hours. The portion sizes were generous, and the flavors were well-composed with fresh ingredients.

The Cuban toast, a sourdough sandwich style bread grilled lightly in butter, was a nice way to sop up the creole sauce in the Cuban hash I enjoyed. This was an extra $1.50 add on to the entree; it wasn’t included in the entree price.

We also ordered a Havana breakfast with over easy eggs on black beans with fried yuca. We also had a wild rice pancake that was decent, and a blueberry pancake.

The house coffee was a wonderfully-aromatic dark roast that I could drink every morning.

The service was warm and attentive. This place is small and has tight seating and limited hours. I recommend a mid day visit on a weekday for that reason.

I would most definitely come back here, again and again for nourishing comfort food.

I have been here many times and it is consistently great every single time. The staff are always so sweet and take great care of you. It’s a smaller building so they only have like 10-12 interior tables to seat people. When it warms up they have some patio seating as well. Wouldn’t be a great choice for parties over 4 to be quite honest. Wait list can get up there, but if you learn to go early or be fine with waiting it’s worth it every single time. Also to be fair, most of the wait time come from people not just eating and leaving but staying to visit (which is fine! Just saying it’s not the staff’s fault). Food comes quick, hot, and on point every time. I love coming to Victor’s.

Here is your review from a Cuban man. 11/10 all around! Maddison was our waitress and honestly all the staff there were so so kind and in such cute costumes. This is the true definition of a hole in the wall and I love it. The food was so good and authentic, I even said I felt like my grandparents were at the table with us eating. They would’ve loved this place. Thank you to the staff, chefs included and thank you for the happy memories of my family cooking. This is a must go! We will be back!

So delicious! I’m a huge fan of Cuban food and this was an excellent representation. Small, colorful restaurant with attentive staff, wide selection of menu items and food is amazing.

Currently they are working on obtaining a liquor license under their new ownership, so that was slightly disappointing at first but the food and vibes made up for it and then some.

Victors definitely nails it with service and Cuban food. Our waitress was friendly and the food is delicious. Where it fails miserably is the atmosphere with all the political signs and stickers of ICE OUT and the “right to refuse service to anyone”. Which they didn’t have until ICE started doing their job to try to get illegal aliens out of MN, it really kills the hip atmosphere it use to have.

I get it as individuals (including owners of businesses)we can disagree on the political climate but we should do it civilly. That being said, a business entity should focus on quality of service and getting repeat customers and not get untangled in nonsense of the day.

Until Victors goes back to what it used to be to be, just being a hip dive with great food and great service. I will just stick to ordering out from them or go to their Cuban competitions.

Victors you’ve got something your competitors lack and that is great food and service don’t lose focus on that. Stop allowing your restaurant to be a shunning to a people that may not agree with you politically but enjoy your food.

I’m obsessed with this place. The food is insanely good and the wait staff are some of the most beautiful and capable people I’ve ever seen. They handle rush times so well it’s like magic. And the coffee is so awesome. I love it here.

PS if any review complains about wait times or the staff, you should ignore them. the restaurant is wicked small and the wait staff do their absolute best to keep things running smoothly and efficiently.

Immaculate vibes paired with delicious food. I’d heard about Victor’s over the years and finally checked it out.

Inside and out, the atmosphere stayed in step with the vibrant cuisine, truly feeling like a trip back in time. We stuck to coffee this morning but all around us guests were sipping on refreshing and colorful looking cocktails.

For brunch, I had the lechón asado (pictured here), and my buddy had the chicken and Spanish chorizo paella. They were both delicious, filling, and well worth the price point. Lastly, the service was prompt and genuine. Really enjoyed my experience and will most definitely be coming back for more!

i live down the street + this place has taken so much of my money … i figured i’d be doing them a disservice if i didn’t leave a review.

the staff has always been a delight to me, going above + beyond to provide quick, polite, and personable service. the food is obviously to die for and there is so much diversity on their menu, you seriously can’t go wrong. outdoor seating is wonderful and while wait times can be a bit tough, the wait makes it all that much better. so much character in such a small building!!!

i hope victor’s continues to thrive each year bc it truly is a gem in my neighborhood. <3
