I’ve been here a couple times now and the cocktails are amazing! The bartender is passionate and knowledgeable about the drinks he creates, and offers up great suggestions for you if you know what kind of flavors you like, but are unsure what to order. I went here on my birthday and got complimentary Tirimisu shooters! You can also order from the Bawarchi’s restaurant menu while you enjoy the bar. My friend and I split a couple vegetarian dishes and appetizers and all the food was great! Definitely beats the chain bars we have going on in the West End, and the prices are a better value than a place like Havanah 59 west, where a single cocktail is as much as $15.

I recently moved to the area from downtown and have been looking for a neighborhood bar that makes quality cocktails. Connection@RVA punches the ticket. Our bartender Robbie was very knowledgable and clearly passionate about producing high quality drinks with many house made ingredients. I had an excellent Rye Old Fashion which wasn’t the typical overly sweet concoction and a Rob Roy (something that you don’t frequently see) that might be a new favorite drink of mine. The real kicker is that the drinks are affordable — especially considering their quality. I look forward to going back soon.
