We arrived and noticed it was quiet and relaxed, a great environment for lunch. We got there at about 1pm on a Saturday and were seated and served immediately. Service was great, they took our orders, cleared the table, and brought food out without interrupting us or feeling like they were hovering. I ordered the chicken skewers to start and katsudon for main, and my partner got takoyaki to start and chicken katsu curry bento box for main. The food was absolutely perfect. I didn’t take photos of the main as the starters got us too excited to tuck in to our mains! It was flavourful, comforting, and filling. We absolutely will be eating here again.
ps. one of the few places ive found in Plymouth that manages to get the music right! it was unobtrusive and didn’t mean people had to raise their voice to talk, but it was still able to be heard during lulls in conversation, which prevented anything from feeling awkward.

Always a favourite, and as someone who’s also ordered takeaway from them, the food and flavour is the exact same as dining in (minus the atmosphere)!

Food was lovely, small little place, well priced and polite staff. Sushi made fresh in front of you and tasted amazing. We all had teriyaki, 2 salmon 1 chicken and the portions were very generous. Will definitely go back for a sharer of sushi next time

Ordered on deliveroo and the delivery driver was so lovely. He asked multiple people how to get to the entrance to the building (it’s a very confusing building). Most people don’t bother and make you come to them so the effort he made was so refreshing. I really wanted to tip him but there wasn’t an option on deliveroo, which I’m unhappy about because he definitely deserves a good tip. The food that I got was also so good, definitely exceeded expectations

This place is amazing, the service is outstanding and the food delicious. Everything I tried was cooked to perfection, the flavours are truly Japanese and the ambient is cozy and warm. One of the best Japanese restaurants in Plymouth for sure. I will certainly come back / take-away again!

Lovely food. Went here for lunch with my friend. Wheelchair accessible but the outside door is a bit of a squeeze for a power chair. Fully level access, however no disabled bathroom that I could see.

Only had deliveries from here but the food is always delicious. Delivery is fast and the deliverers are always nice and friendly. I once ordered delivery to wrong hotel and it was no bother at all. They were super communicative and sorted it out quickly
The only thing I don’t like is that even though you spend £30 on sushi and still have to pay extra for soya sauce and ginger

Service and food here is always fantastic. I’ve spent a great amount of time in Japan and the food here is as close as it gets and is the real deal. Polite staff who make you feel welcome and deliver an amazing experience every time I go.
