If you’re in Mesquite and haven’t tried Ovenhead Pizza, you’re missing out.
We ordered a little bit of everything and not one thing disappointed. The pizza was half Borracha and half Carnivora, and both sides were packed with flavor. The Borracha had the was sweet and savory, and the Carnivora was loaded and satisfying without being overwhelming. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and thoughtfully put together.
We also tried the wings in mild, lemon pepper, and garlic parmesan — all three were delicious, crispy and well-seasoned. The fries were crispy, the dinner salad was fresh, and the Greek salad had great flavor balance. The shrimp fettuccine was another standout — creamy, flavorful, and generous with the shrimp.
The restaurant itself is very clean, has plenty of parking, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming. The service truly made the experience even better. Geo was exceptional — very attentive, friendly, and accommodating throughout our visit.
Great food, great service, and a great overall experience. We’ll definitely be back!

My husband brought me because I was craving spaghetti. I end up getting a supreme pizza and my husband got Parmesan wings. Everything was delicious and the owner and employee were very pleasant. I love how you’re greeted coming in. We got lucky today they let us taste try the specialty of the month “The Taki Loco” pizza and love it.

Walked in and there was a pretty good crowd. They’re very accommodating made arrangements for us all to sit together. Food came out hot and fast since they make it fresh. Sorry we ate the wings before I could take a picture, they were so good! Both pizzas we ordered walere delicious! So was my daughter’s chicken alfredo pasta. Sodas are canned but I don’t mind at all because they were cold. Staff was great and owner is a nice guy. Really seems to care about people’s experience. Recommended

The pizza was delicious — flavorful sauce, fresh toppings, and a crust that was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. But let’s talk about those mozzarella sticks… the CHEESE PULL was everything Perfectly crispy on the outside with that long, stretchy, gooey melt when you pull them apart. So good!

Ive been wanting to try this place out for a while now. Not dissappointed at all! The garlic chicken alfredo was good and creamy, hot and flavorful fettuccini pasta. The 1/2 borracha and 1/2 supreme 16″pizza with pineapple hit the spot. I will come back soon

I can’t really give them an accurate review. I ordered a pizza, and an Italian sub. I got stuck in traffic and it was cold by the time I got home. I will definitely be going back for another try. This is a family owned business and everyone was so nice and welcoming. Great atmosphere and plenty of seating.

Had a good time eating here tonight! We tried the carnivora pizza, the spaghetti with meat sauce, and some mozzarella sticks! Everything was hot and fresh and super tasty! 🙂

After spending $141+. Im livid, they forgot my mozzarella sticks. They obviously dont care and don’t pay attention to the order. The pasta shrimp Alfredo temperature was only warm and the sauce tastes store bought or powder base. The pizza should have been cooked in a deck oven or stone oven for the price. Pizza sauce has ZERO flavor. You can see the screen marks on the bottom, and that tells me conveyor oven (like little Ceasars). The floppy crust is terrible. Yet I’ll be expected to drive back up there to get my mozzarella sticks that should have been given to me in the first place, yet no other compensation for something that’s not my fault. Terrible service and food is a 2 at best out of 10. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH $141+! Will be reposting to my 20k followers.

The reviews are all spot on. The atmosphere is amazing and kid friendly. The food is all delicious and the people here are the nicest people you could ever hope to talk to. I will definitely be coming back and I will recommend this place to anyone that will listen.
