The best IHOP I have been to in the tricities, and the cleanest! Food was good! Restaurant was super clean, even with as busy as it was this morning. Food came out quickly and correct! Our server Maggie was one of the best I’ve had anywhere in a long time. The manager was helping run food with a smile on her face and was pleasant and friendly with customers, which almost seems hard to come by these days.
My husband wasn’t impressed with the biscuits and gravy though, the gravy did appear a little watered down. But he definitely enjoyed the rest of his meal!

I come to this IHOP every weekend and it’s the best one I have ever been to. I travel for work and have tried many but Johnson City is the best by far. Chelsey, Janet, Beth, and Kristin have taken great care of me for years. The food is consistently hot fresh and delicious.

The service was excellent. The pancakes and coffee were very good.
But the scrambled eggs, bacon, link sausage, and hash browns were, I imagine, like prison food. The eggs were dry and cold. The bacon was half cooked and greasy. The link sausage had no flavor and was under cooked, the hash browns were also under cooked.

Chelsea our server was excellent today! We got there 9am hour before church crowds and while sign on hostess stand stated “we are short staffed thank you for your patience” we had no issues getting seated, etc. Kids loved special birthday breakfast and food was all correct when it arrived! Reasonably priced. We will be back!

With a chain restaurant, you know what to expect: “the usual”. But, sometimes a chain restaurant fools you! This is the 2nd time we’ve been to this IHOP in Johnson City and BOTH times, we were impressed with the exceptional service (today, Valerie made sure we never saw the bottom of our coffee cups!) and the perfectly prepared breakfast platters. Well, we didn’t actually order platters, but the portion sizes told otherwise! I had asked for extra butter (a must for Belgium Waffles!) and not only did Valerie make sure it happened, but she brought us both warmed syrup, too! A classy touch!
