The food was very traditional and very good. The place isn’t too large, but there is plenty of seating. If you get there early sometimes the line to just buy the burritos is down the sidewalk from their entrance. Well worth the wait for take out. Prices are very reasonable and they also sell Mexican bottled soft drinks. The staff is friendly and fast

The food at Tortilleria Crystal is always delicious, it’s authentic mexican food. I like the Carry out food. It’s quick and you get delicious hardy food for the whole family. Service is fast and you’re out of there in 10 minutes or so. They also have a dine-in area, kinda crowded but worth it. Of course they have homemade tortillas and pork rinds (chicharrones). Parking is always full, there’s areas where people make their own parking spots, but that’s ok because people are always in and out fast. Tortilleria Crystal figured out what people want and has the staff to make it happen, fast and constant. Cash only and I believe they have an ATM in the restaurant. I always recommend to friends and family. Oh, best of all, they open at 4:30am so if you live in the area, you can pick up some menudo on the weekends to take to work and even for co-workers. Again this place knows what people want. Kudos to them.

This place is as LEGIT as it gets! I’m new to the Northeast from Central, and this place has ALL the bases covered. The food is all made right in front of you, and the flavor profiles are all spot on!

Tortilleria Crystal is hands down a 5/5! The customer service is so welcoming, and their system keeps the line moving fast. I had the green chilaquiles, if you like spicy food, I highly recommend them! Just writing this review is making my mouth water. The burrito de chicharrón was also delicious, and don’t even get me started on the menudo…so good! My wife tried the flautas, but even she preferred the chilaquiles, menudo, and burritos over them. And honestly, you just can’t beat the prices.

The food here was absolutely delicious! The enchilada plate was so flavorful and tasted authentic. The salsa for the chips was a bit hot but great paired with the enchilada dish. Also the chips were fresh and were really good.
Not only was the food delicious it was also priced extremely fair. Just take note though, they are cash only.

Good place to eat service is fast and quick which is always good they only take cash but they do provide an atm there which is good. The cashier Danny is very friendly and helpful even the lady who had served me. I do Recommend being there early because they have lines so that always tells you a lot about a restaurant

This place is a northeast gem! With their fantastic burritos. Great flavor, nice and filling at a great price. Their caldo de res is awesome ! Never fails, full of meat snd veggies. Their taco plates are pretty good too all at a terrific price!
Their barbacoa burrito is never greasy, just very tasty, as well as their chile relleno. Try the bistek tacos,with their delicious red salsa or green salsa. Both are what take all their food to the next level. The best part of all this is they’re open every day,even sundays.

I’ve been to Mexican restaurants and taco stands from across the US and this has to be one of the most authentic ones yet! In El Paso comparably the best. Highly recommend you get out here on a Saturday morning around 10 am, the atmosphere is great, mariachi out front, locals lined up to get tacos and burritos and my personal favorite the menudo is top notch! Waitresses are extremely nice and the fastest service in town.

Came here because my girlfriend follows the owners daughter on social media. Some of the food was tasty. Some of the food was very underwhelming. Biggest issue for me is the overall sanitation of the restaurant. I requested a cold bottle of water. I received one that was room temp and had red chili smeared down the side of the bottle. My son’s bottled drink also had something smeared and dried on the exterior. When I was paying I looked behind the counter and there was a bin filled with raw meat laying on the floor with flies flying around it. My girlfriends gordita came out at room temp instead of nice and hot.
Today, the morning after going, 5 out of 7 of us are now sick with food poisoning. There’s no way of knowing if it came from here. But given the sanitation issues and other reviews also making claims of food poisoning and failed inspections really narrows it down. In addition my girlfriend reports that she remembers that the lady she follows on sm, also had food poisoning in one of the videos. All signs points to this place being the culprit. Sad because we really wanted to like it. The lines are very long. I’m thinking the lines are long because the food is very cheap not because of the quality.
Also there is only one restroom and for some poorly designed reason it is directly in the middle of the kitchen and the meal prep area. So food is constantly being take from the kitchen past the bathroom to the to-go meal prep area.
