We had a graduation lunch, and they were able to accommodate us as we were a large group. Management and staff were super friendly, and the service was great! The food was delicious, and the plates were well served. Appetizers were also on point and really good. Can’t wait to come back and have the delicious tea too.

We tried the seafood platters fried fish w stuffed shrimp red potatoes w seasoned rice and lemon pepper fried fish which was lightly battered perfectly grilled shrimp w green beans and buttered spinach. They both came with hush puppies. The fish seasoning was yummy. The potatoes looked like Cajun potatoes but they were sweet. And the green beans had a tomato flavor which I didn’t expect. The kids got the shrimp pasta which they loved they finished the whole plate. And the chicken tenders w fries. Overall great food, quick service.

Went here for a quick dinner. Shrimp pasta was great! But the fried calamari was the star. My kids couldn’t get enough of it. The rice was not that great. Hard and lacked any flavor. Service was excellent. Restaurant itself was nice and clean.

Today during lunch, I dined in and Emily was my cashier. She was incredibly patient and kind—I had several questions about the lunch menu changes, and she made the ordering process so easy and stress-free. The restaurant itself was very clean and well maintained. The soda machines were wiped down with nothing sticky, the tea was fresh, and the lids and straws were fully stocked. When my food came out, Logan was also very kind and made sure I had everything I needed. I will definitely be returning—this is by far the best Sea Island location.

I stopped at the Sea Island location in the Helotes area for an early dinner while working nearby. I dined alone and ordered the seafood platter.
When I finished eating, I still had a full white fish filet, two stuffed shrimp, and about half of my green beans remaining. I got up to get a to-go container, and within approximately 30 seconds, a busser cleared my table and threw the remaining food away.
I informed the manager of what happened. The manager was polite and agreed to replace the items that were discarded. It took about 22 minutes to replacement my food. Ultimately I received it after 22 minutes plus and extra minute or 2 because of the green beans.
The food quality was good, and I have no complaints about the service staff. This review is specifically about how the situation was handled.
After clearly explaining to the manager that the discarded items included the fish, two stuffed shrimp, and green beans, the replacement order did not include the green beans.
Based on this experience, I am giving this location a 1-star review.
Hopefully next time they will do better. If I come back to this location.

I recently went to this location, I have not been to this location in a few years and they have remodeled the restaurant. It looks really good inside. Plenty of areas to seat and eat and really clean in and outside. I ordered Fried Fish & Shrimp with Fries and it tasted a bit like it was boxed fish and bagged fries that was cooked, it tasted good but nothing spectacular.

My boyfriend and I grew up in opposite sides of San Antonio and our families always took us to Sea Island, but we both have not been in years since church Sundays prior to me moving out. Today we decided to come back to Sea Island after a long time and tried this location that I have never been to before. The service was exceptional, the cashier greeted us with a warm smile and energy that made us feel welcome and excited to experience this nostalgic restaurant, he even convinced us to try the calamari which was the best! The food came out hot and tasted excellent, the food runner was kind, came back to ask us how we were doing and if we were enjoying everything! He might have been the manager I am not sure but still very hospitable with a warm smile! We left happily after we enjoyed the good food that has stayed consistent for many years, and joyfully talked about our experience at other Sea Islands from our childhood! Thank you to the staff for allowing us to enjoy a great Sunday meal with you all!

This was our first time here and definitely will not be the last! Service is top notch. Very friendly. Ambience is chill. Beers are cold. But WOW the winner is the lemon pepper fish, greek salad, ans the Diablo cakes!!!

Bought two seafood bowls as curbside pick-up. Service was prompt upon arrival. Opened the meals at home and was astonished. The preparation for the boil has greatly improved from the entrae being scattered in a Styrofoam container, to being properly bagged to maintain heat and saturated flavor throughout. Wasn’t pretty before, but good. Now looks great and is delicious! Prep is vital.

This was the Bandera/1604 location. There were three other tables while there, but it seemed to take 30 minutes for our food to come out. I had the Mariner special, which is normally delicious. However, my fish sandwich was cold, and the cheese was just sitting atop the sandwich, like it was an afterthought. It’s normally melted onto the fillet. The corn was cold and bland. The butter would not melt. The other meal was shrimp. The shrimp was not cleaned. It still had the poo in it. YUCK!
