My goodness the staff here is so friendly. They have many choices in soups, stewed meats and rice and beans among other Latin foods.

For those who wish to try adventurous eating, come here and try their pigs feet stew. The pigs feet are full of delicious textured collagen, which is very good for beautiful skin. I had it with white rice and beans. Different kinds of yellow rice are also available

The place has a crowd and thus the food is constantly being refreshed which gives their food that freshly made quality.

Fantastic food. The staff really cares and helped me get what I wanted. I don’t speak Spanish but I love the food. This place has it, I am so happy that my client sent me here. I was working and I saw that they were eating something that looked delicious. I asked them where did you get that food. They put the address in my maps and off I went.
That being said, maps has no idea where this fine establishment is located. I used the address.
Highly recommend this restaurant!

It’s always busy here. The rice is tastes good but that’s all I have tried because there’s no labels on anything and I only speak English so it’s difficult to even point to the rice and get the correct size of that! The food is all along the counter that you stand along, in line. There’s a clear divider between you and the food/staff and it makes pointing at what you want to ask about even more difficult. I did try the fried bread/Naan type food and it was ok the 1st time a few months ago but the other day, it had definitely been sitting there for a while because it was too hard to eat. My friend had an even harder time ordering her food and she’s a frequent customer. Her server was too busy staring at 2 cops that came in to order. Luckily, they were able to go right to the cash register at the end of the line and leave quickly otherwise it would have taken forever to get my friend’s food. She also commented that the orange colored rice was flavorless lately. Also, she has a certain dish that she likes but it looks like its now prepared a different way. Unfortunately, since she too only speaks English, after attempting to understand what she was trying to order, she gave up. There is a menu online but it’s really hard to match any of the pictures to the items being sold in the restaurant and the majority is in Spanish so it’s really very little help. I have diet restrictions so knowing what I am eating is pretty important to me. Lastly, expect to be here for at least 20 minutes even if buying a single order of rice, due to always being full of customers. Judging by that, the food seems good because people are there all the time!

Really guys?! An hour waiting for delivery and by the waiting time the food arrived was cold. Fried plantains are cold and hard without salt, and the service should have a mayoketchup but nothing. Thanks for making my friends experience HORRIBLE as the food!
Attitude and service POOOOOOOR. You DON’T sell Dominicans Chimi. You guys sell hot sandwiches.

The ribs were HARD, and the fried plantains weren’t good at ALL. The mangu with the 3 strikes SALTY and OILY… 0 and, 0, AND 0 AGAIN!!!

Update: they have remodeled the place and the food has been getting better. They are trying to answer the phone more often.

Some of their food is good, some not as much. Those who really know about good Hispanic food can tell the difference. I would recomend the picalonga and the mofongo with shrimps. nothing else there is good. I must mention they barely answer the phone and the food is also pricey considering the location, the quality and the quantity served. overall, go there only if there’s no where else to eat Hispanic food.

Wait too long for a fried red snapper. 45 min. I even called 15 min in advance. Still got the order wrong & waited another 20 min just for fried plantains. The price for the fish was $30!

It was so hard for me to post this because I’ve been eating here for years. These pictures don’t do enough because they’re screenshots from a video. But there was a roach just crawling around in the food I’m so disgusted.
