We decided to venture out for an impromptu birthday dinner and ended up at O’Charley’s. We do not get out much, as they could probably tell by the toddler twins we were juggling into the booth. My first clue should have been how scant the patronage was. Yet our waitress was friendly and sweet, so we stuck around. When our salad came it looked great! LOOKED great. The salad was an ice cold Ceasar drenched in a watery dressing. Our entrees weren’t any better. My salmon was burnt, our steaks overcooked and bland, smashed potatoes were runny, my asparagus were charred whisps… it was terrible. I hate giving bad reviews, but tonight was BEYOND ME! Spending $100 on a meal we couldn’t even finish is so frustrating! The staff was great though. Absolutely no complaints there.

Hubby and I ordered take out while the kids were away since they brought back Nashville hot. We both ordered tenders Mac n cheese he got fries and I got the baked potato. Arrived at curbside for my order waited for about 10 minutes even though I arrived 8 minutes after my pick up time. I was missing a Mac n cheese so I had to go in not that big of a deal.. no one at the Togo stand so a guy from the kitchen comes out and asks how he can help I told him I was missing a Mac n cheese and asked if the portion of the other one was correct he said okay went back to the kitchen and sent the manager out. Manager explained that is the correct portion no big deal I work for a corporate restaurant so I know how it goes. He went to get me another Mac and cheese and it took an additional ten minutes not sure why because I could see 7+ kitchen staff just hanging out in the kitchen with not so many tables in the dining room on a Friday night. I could hear a lady in the dining room telling her kids that she got her dessert before she even got her meal even though everyone else had finished eating, looked like only two servers were on. I asked the manager to compensate me for the inconvenience and the fact that my food was now twenty minutes over due. He was professional and listened to my concerns and compensated me. Food was good seems like they changed the sauce, Mac n cheese was bomb and the baked potato was nothing you couldn’t get at home very plain and I had to put it together myself. Will go back to o’charlies but probably not this location. I completely get the food industry and it just seemed like the staff could of been ran a little tighter considering they weren’t busy and done in and carryout were having problems. Things happen maybe it was just an off night I appreciate the manager taking care of me forgot to get his name.

The crab cakes were delicious—perfectly seasoned and cooked just right! My husband absolutely loved the chicken tenders; they were crispy and flavorful. Our server was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made our experience even better. The atmosphere was great, and the service was quick. We will definitely be coming back to try more dishes. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a great meal and excellent service!

I stumbled across this restaurant by accident. I’m from out of town and had never heard of it before. But after one meal, I will definitely come back every chance I get — especially on Free Pie Wednesday!

For dinner, I began with a $5 Happy Hour cocktail — an Old Fashioned. For the main course, I had the Atlantic Samon with green beans and a baked potato. And for dessert, I had a slice of Lemon Meringue pie! In a word, DELICIOUS!

The ambiance was only surpassed by the hospitality and efficiency of my server, Laura T. She attended to my every need and offered first-hand opinions on menu items. I can say she did not steer me wrong! Stellar service with a warm smile, great food, all at a reasonable price. Who could possibly ask for more?

I highly recommend this restaurant and extend my thanks to the management, chefs, staff, and especially Laura T for a very enjoyable evening!

New manager at sawmill Rd not willing to accommodate a mushroom allergy person. Customer in front of me ordered x tra mushrooms. I am extremely allergic to mushrooms. Asked the manager to clean off the grill, which means water on grill, change spatulas, because even a little juice will cause me to have to use my epi pen, and a trip to the hospital, the manager said oh we can’t do that we’re go busy, we wipe it off really well, have you watched them make those subs, they use the same spatula they cook with, and do not change spatulas. Old Manager had no issues I didn’t mind waiting but this manager is not interested.. get a grip women.customers give allergy issues for a reason, so they don’t wind up dieing…. I will pass this along to BBB and 6 on my side.

O’Charley’s has been one of our favorite places to grab and enjoy a good meal. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case. For the second time in a row, we have had the disappointment and displeasure of dining at this location. The first time we gave them the benefit of the doubt. Since it has been a while, we decided to give this location another chance today. We were met by our server at the door and shown to our table. Before we could even sit down and have a chance to look over the menu, we were pushed for what appetizer, drink, and entrée we wanted to order. We each ordered an appetizer. I asked for sweet tea and was told “we’re out, we are still trying to find our sugar”, which honestly is a very odd hurdle to have as a restaurant. The server returned with our drinks, and I had to tell him again that we needed some time to look at the menu. When he returned, I asked about the rolls and butter that have always been brought to the table very shortly after seating. The response I received was “We changed the policy. You must order and I collect your menus before I can bring you the rolls. We have too many people just ordering drinks and not food, so I can’t bring them yet.” Let’s be honest, at ~$3.50 for a fountain soda, you’re not losing money for a couple small dinner rolls, but I digress. I asked if this was a policy for all locations or just theirs and was told “I don’t know…”. I asked for extra butter and was told, “I’ll bring you two” in a tone as if there’s a very strict limit! We ordered our entrées. The appetizers arrive and shortly after so do the rolls. We are not even finished with these and the entrées arrive. It was simply awful. The “famous” chicken fingers would have been better if they opened a bag of cheap frozen store brand and microwaved them. They were dried out, the breading was tough, very tiny, and bland. I asked for an additional honey mustard (as they bring you sauces in these tiny little cups) and it never arrived. The “Mac ‘n cheese” side was extremely under portioned. When I questioned this, rather than a simple “let me fix that for you”, I was told, “It’s correct. We have a tiny styrofoam cup we fill to measure it out and dump that in the side dish.” There was barely anything in the dish, only five tiny little bites and it was gone. This also tasted like a bland side that was microwaved to be lukewarm. The smashed potatoes simply looked old and unappealing. My other half’s food was just as bad and bland. I told the server of the issues and was just bushed off, essentially being given a series of “things aren’t as good as they used to be” excuses. The original drinks we received at the start were finished by the time food arrived and our glasses sat empty until we received the check and were asked if we wanted a refill to go. In summary, we felt very rushed during interactions with the server, yet the service was beyond slow, especially for a restaurant that is not even close to half full. The food was extremely subpar, and your prices cannot be justified, especially with this quality. Zero effort was made to resolve the issues I brought to their attention. We have no intention of returning to the restaurant and highly suggest that anyone takes the time to go anywhere else.

Hadn’t been here for quite some time. Menu is considerably smaller than I remember but they are not alone, lots of restaurants have down sized their menu. Service was great, and food came out quickly and was correct. Would definitely recommend and we will be going back.
