Such a great experience! The coffee was outstanding, the food was all made fresh to order and tasted amazing, and a cute pup kept us company while we ate. We were just passing through, but wish we had a place like this back in Oklahoma!

If you expect a German coffee shop with a bohemian twist when visiting Kaffeehaus Fabelhaft, you will not be disappointed. If your normal fare is a quiet, corporate cloned coffee house with sugary concoctions, then maybe go elsewhere. This establishment takes German engineering to coffee and gives you a precise aromatic and bean experience. Great coffee, hands down, worth stopping for that. The vibes are both fun-loving and serious. From the friendly card game to playful dogs and the more frat-party styled decor. It is hard to make the books by authors like Friedrich Nietzsche fit the motif. However, the German theme pulls it all together. Stop for the coffee, stay if you want a unique but friendly environment.

Such a gem of a coffee shop! The coffee was absolutely fantastic—smooth, rich, and clearly made with care. I also tried the croissants and pretzels, which were incredibly fresh and made to order—crisp on the outside, warm and fluffy inside. They had a selection of German beer that made this place feel like the perfect blend of cozy café and European pub. As a bonus, you can make a furry friend that will sit you and give high-fives Coffee shop by day, low-key beer garden by night vibes. 10/10 will be back—probably way too often!

Quaint coffee house right off of the LongLeaf trace. Stopped for Espresso & Cappuccino’s. Will go back to try the homemade pretzel. Owner was great to talk to and had good information to share about his community. There is wonderful outdoor seating that on a sunny day is a great place to hang out.

After four flights in a week, Ive sucked down a lot of red-eyes (coffee with extra espresso) lately. They tend to be bitter as hell, and you drink them more for the effect than the flavor. When the proprietor asked which coffee I wanted, I just said dealers choice, so I’m not sure which varietal I received.
Oh. My. God. I’ll have to go back just to see what kind of magic that man put into the cup, because it was one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had. No bitterness, no burnt espresso flavor, just this wonderfully rich complexity, mouthfeel, and… savory(?) Ive never been inclined to say coffee could taste “umami,” before, but here we are.
Ten out of five stars!

Forget the coffee. ☕️ Bratwurst is on point and made to order, so service takes a little while. Food didn’t last long enough for pictures. Morning beer? Yessiree! Pups are nice too.

Was staying overnight in hattiesburg and stumbled across this place and I am in love..it is the cutest the only downside was having sooo many coffee options to choose from that i didnt want to just pick one thing to try. I had my first hand poured over coffee and ate eggs, bratwurst and fruit. It was all lovely and the icing was having the goodest boy keeping me company the whole time!! I hope this place stays open so I can visit from hereonout when I’m in the area!!

In the midst of our road trip we found this gem of a coffeeshop. It’s everything you want in a coffee shop and more! The atmosphere is homey, the co-owner Mike is very personable, and the coffee is high quality. He even made a swan Latte art!! ( I dabble in latte art myself and it doesn’t come close to his magic) By the end we wanted to stay all day and hangout.
