From the warm welcome at the entrance to the very end of dinner, everything at Gauchos – Battistini unfolds perfectly. You’re greeted with a smile and promptly informed about the wait time while your table is prepared. In the meantime, you can enjoy watching the chefs skillfully grill the meats—sometimes even having a chat with them and tasting small samples of their specialties fresh off the grill.
Once seated, the staff remains friendly and attentive, offering honest and well-informed advice on both food and wine, without any pressure. The quality of the dishes is among the best I’ve experienced in a steakhouse, which is also confirmed by the large number of Argentinian and South American guests—people who truly know Argentine cuisine.
Even the desserts are remarkable, with standouts like the rum and apple crepes. Overall, Gauchos – Battistini consistently exceeds expectations. Compliments to the entire team for making each visit memorable!

Ordered takeout and had a very great experience. Walked in and was greeted by two kind hostess. Justina took great care of us from the moment we walked in to when we left. She was kind and welcoming and had the most welcoming smile. While we waited for our food we noticed their grill and the chefs making the food doing such a great job. One of them noticed us watching and he let us taste a part of the steak he was making. It was SO good. Everyone we met was very kind. Our food was delicious!
My brother and I left with a lot of food and feeling very cared for. We will be back for dinner before leaving!! Thank you to everyone especially JUSTINA ☺️

Excellent local ristorante in the suburbs of Roma! Authentic and tasty pizza, pasta, steaks and more! Felt like we were the only tourists. Service was friendly and quick. You‘ll need a reservation (call in or through google), especially on Fridays and Saturdays. Has a few TV screens, you won‘t miss a soccer or sports game there. Street parking and the bus stop right next it.

Wonderful place. The attention was as good as you can get. Excellent waiter Sebastian . The food was exquisite we were a party of 17 people and had several entrance mixed with empanadas and fried veggies, ordered sangria wine and beers and for main course pizza wich was exquisite 100% recommended.. Delicious authentic Argentinian cuisine. The meat was amazing. My dad and I walked over from our hotel and we lucked out and got a table right away. But it was pretty busy so I would recommend reserving a table. They didn’t speak much English and I didn’t speak much Italian so we did everything in Spanish. They were very accommodating. Great service and the food came out fast.
