Reviews
The restaurant itself had nice decor and calm lighting, creating a chill environment to dine in. The restrooms were nice, clean, and properly stocked with good water pressure and temperature.
The drink selection was well-rounded. I decided on a spiked strawberry lemonade, which was very tasty and had good presentation. The water glass looked extremely hydrating and crisp, tasting the same.
The bread and butter was good. The bread was crispy with a soft center, though, the butter was difficult to spread evenly onto the bread slice due it being a colder temperature.
I ordered the 12oz Ribeye with the sides being a loaded baked potato and mashed potatoes.
The Ribeye was a large, very juicy steak with well-rendered fat on the edges, creating a delicious experience that paired well with the seasoning and crust on the steak.
The loaded baked potato had a reasonable amount of toppings that were very delicious. The potato was nicely cooked and wasn’t too hot to eat when it was given to me.
The mashed potatoes came with butter on top, which paired well with the creamy texture of the mashed potatoes.
At the end of the meal, I was offered a bag for the unfinished bread loaf, to which I accepted. I asked if I could have some butter to go as well, and they kindly gave me some for my bread.
Overall, the meal, service, and experience were above my expectations. The price came out to $40.35 before tip, and it was well worth the money. I would come back again.
The manager Kelly was very friendly and attentive with all of the customers, and the restaurant was very clean.
Dealing with the freeway construction is well worth it for a great meal.
Pros: nice atmosphere and setting. Clean tables, friendly servers. Salad veggies are fresh (no flimsy lettuce thank goodness).
Cons:
The tender platter comes with side salad. Requested blue cheese and the salad was smothered in it. The thickness and texture of that dressing didn’t require much so the salad dressing overpowered the salad so much I couldn’t enjoy it. The burger comes with raw, not fried onions (not sure if that is an option as it wasn’t offered by the server).
