Man, they’re trying. Whoever oversaw the design did a nice job with the redecoration. It’s nice in there now. Our server was kind, but undertrained. She didn’t know what drinks were available. She didn’t take our plates after multiple trips back to the table. And when I asked why there was no tip line on the receipt – “because we’re cashless and tipless.” Huh? I’m not going to not tip my server. If you’re going to serve good food like walleye and wild rice, offer some midgrade wines that don’t say from a Box on the check.
The food was ok. Again, I appreciate they’re trying, with some vegetables, fish, and other things that aren’t just deep fried bar food. My fish was undercooked. I’d give the place one more shot.
