Well we ordered our drink think they forgot about us..took a while to get them..then we ordered took even longer wow. Took a hour supposely they make everything fresh. Yes we can see all them girls in the back cooking away making our tapatillos..so yes it was good..we ordered those tacos with cabbage on top for 3 of us 12 and then and 2 # 6..very filling get the 6 it fills u up. Lol we took home 8 of those we got full…so u all know..

One thing is for sure. You will not leave hungry. From their breakfast to the lunch buffet. Everything is really tasty. The breakfast menu is really good. On certain days the buffet will have “discada”, which is very hard to find east of Ft. Stockton. Their red chili pork is also very good. The staff is friendly and courteous. A good place to have a meal.

I travel to Del Rio Texas every year to visit family. and We make sure we eat here at Mexico Tipico a couple times during our stay! The food is great we’ve had their pancake breakfast and buffet style lunch. and the food is delicious and the restaurant is clean! service is kind and courteous! my family and I will always be coming to eat here every time we are in town!

We didn’t eat in the restaurant but we ordered to go. And the girl that answered had great customer service and sounded friendly. I haven’t tried everything from there but I soon will. This was my first time getting food from this place. I am very picky when it comes to menudo or other foods. And I am so impressed with the menudo from here. It wasn’t so greasy or so red. They actually do put enough menudo meat and a good a mouth or harmony. I’m definitely going back and I also highly recommend this place. My father also said they were friendly as he walked in to pick up our order and he said it was a clean environment. So thank you for that everyone likes well maintained places.

If you haven’t stopped by yet, I highly encourage you to check out their lunch buffet. The owner is constantly bringing out fresh batches of different entrees and sides. You won’t see anything stay sitting long because it’s that tasty. Sometimes you may have to wait a few for a table since they stay very busy. Expansion coming soon and I sure can’t wait!

The food was great and authentic, the service or lack there of, was terrible. Our server did less than minimum effort, she brought us our drinks and that was the last time we saw her until we left. However, the woman who served our plates was very helpful at explaining the buffet options, brought us our tortillas (which was the servers job), and offered us chile de arbol. We were not given/offered refills, given the fact that the restaurant only had 4 other tables occupied, I do NOT understand the deplorable server service. I had heard great things about this place but the service was lack luster and merits no second visits.
