Short review: Beautiful building. Pleasant atmosphere. Nice staff. Messed up orders. Subpar, almost undrinkable coffee.
Long review: This is the second time I have come to this location. Having an electric car, the charging port in the Kohls lot makes this place an easy locale to wait. The first time we experienced one woman’s very bad day and attitude. It was definitely the same person other reviewers have mentioned. And our coffee was good but slightly lukewarm. This time the servers were nice. But we asked for two Breve lattes. This is just a latte with half/half instead of milk. One of us got a latte and the other got a milk alternative latte. And they were both lukewarm at best. Like “baby bottle warm”. It was noticeable. My partner couldn’t even drink his. And my cup was dented in such a way I had to hold it so it didn’t dribble in me. I know what you might think; why didn’t I just point this out then to the barista? I think it had to do with my partner wanting Starbucks and me insisting local. And then have it fail. I don’t think this place is bad. I think they need a battle axe of a manager to train and re-train their employees. I love their building. And the roaster is such a pretty thing to look at while waiting. Unfortunately our wait ended with undrinkable coffee.

Cute and spacious coffee shop with a lot of seating and tables for studying, reading, or catching up with friends. I got their mocha and it was great. Not too sweet and just the right proportions of chocolate, espresso, and milk.

Very nice coffee place. Got salted caramel mocha which was really good. My friend got macadamia nut flavored Latter which was also splendid. Great atmosphere – great place to sit around and enjoy your coffee or do work.

I stopped for a large cup of coffee and had only a large bill, no cards on me. It was too early in the day for them to be able to make change so they gave me the coffee for free. To the nice person working at 8:30 yesterday morning (Monday Oct 6), THANK YOU! Plus the coffee was very good. I will pay back next time I’m passing through!

The coffee tastes is not on the top of my list but the shop itself is an amazing atmosphere. It feels so fresh and airy inside with a very natural theme of plants and great light comming through the almost green house style of great lighting. Plenty of seating altogether and a great place to be alone and with a date or group.

Visiting from out of state. Stopped for coffee and breakfast before our drive home. Great atmosphere, cute mugs. They were out of the main food item I was wanting (no vegan breakfast burritos– I have a dairy allergy). My family tried the quiche and bagels and said they were good. Coffee was not memorable– ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ . No prices listed inside. No list of flavors or milk alternatives. Probably wouldn’t come back if I lived here. Well, maybe to try the breakfast burrito

Whidbey has a great vibe & super friendly staffers to get your day started. I really appreciated them offering to remove cheese from one breakie sandwich and add it to mine. Great idea! Lots on the menu to choose from, a massive seating area, patio space as well as a drive-through make this a smart alternative.

Bagel sandwich was delicious, but i waited and waited just to realize the girl who rang me up (who saw me just sitting there) never put it in and someone else had to do it after i asked.
