Ju Fu House is the culmination of Fuzhou, Sichuan, and Cantonese cuisine. I have eaten there every day since their opening in the past 2 1/2 weeks. The restaurant is bright and happy but most importantly it is authentic good quality Chinese food. Look around the dining room and see that 98% of the patrons are all Chinese and know great quality Chinese food. I am passionate about finding the best Chinese food in Tampa Bay and this place checks all the boxes. The prior reviews where people are looking for Ho Ho Choys is not relevant because Ho Ho Choys had its local American audience but this is the real deal. The spicy boiled fish, mouth watering chicken, lamb hot pot, bean curd sticks with beef brisket, steamed fish with ginger and green onions, wonton noodle soup, snow pea tips, and yes, the eel is amazing. I don’t have enough space to tell you all of the amazing authentic food that is here. This is the Chinese community’s place to go!

Beef ho fun tastes bland. No flavor
Singapore chow mein fun, tastes as though it was cooked in the same pan as the Beef Ho Fun and the pan wasn’t cleaned.. it does not have that distinct curry taste but tastes similar to Beef Ho Fun…Just bland.
The pan fried pork dumplings melted through the to-go container and the inner meat filling tastes like soap, we are too scared to eat it.
Even the egg drop soup is bland.
These foods LOOK good, but the taste is lacking.

The environment is too retro for me. The service is great, but the price of food is pretty high. The taste is okay for me. I don’t like strong-flavored
food, so this restaurant is not bad for me. The taste is more inclined to traditional Chinese food than American Chinese food.

Formerly HoHo but JuFu House is even better! Food is absolutely fantastic – even better than when it was HoHo’s (and we loved HoHo’s)! They remodeled as well – it’s beautiful!! Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed.

This is a new restaurant…. Currently being redecorated and updated. It has new management and a new name used to bee called Ho Ho Choy. The staff and service was pleasant and the decor satisfying. The food was average and the prices did not reflect the average quality of food or the proportions served. I loved the previous owners and food. Unfortunately the sky high prices and small portions will probably cause this restaurant to fold very quickly. Unfortunately. I was not a satisfied customer. I ordered two mains ( sweet and sour pork … shrimp egg foo yong …this was for a lunch… and an appetizer)….. $47. Never again…

Everything was delicious! My mom and I went to eat there, and everything was delicious, thank you! Just one observation: my mom wanted to tell the girl who served us that she was Korean, and she was very beautiful since we had just seen the new restaurant. She wasn’t mean at all, and I think she got upset. We’re Latinas, and we speak like this, more calmly. The place will be one of my favorites. Wait for my TikTok, lol

Went there looking for Ho Ho Choy, surprise no longer there.
We had dinner since the drive here is about 45 minutes. The atmosphere look to be too upscale and pricey for the neighborhood in my opinion. We met another couple as we were getting into car to go home and they were surprised the Ho Ho Choy was gone. They said they are not even going to try this place.

The food quality is nowhere near worth the price.
I’m usually happy to give new restaurants a try and offer encouraging reviews, but this one clearly falls outside that range.

Bad service. We waited for an hour for the fish entree but never came. The lady servers were not nice and friendly. They just changed it to Jufu House which is just a more expensive Ho Ho Choi. They even changed the prices on their menu even they just opened weeks or a month ago.
