The food was really good,hot & fresh. The margaritas were really good!!!! My fav is the WineArita!!! Also, it gets pretty crowded, but they’re turning those tables quickly. Your birthday is a great time to go for!!

We ordered chimichangas for lunch & they were dry…. Only contained meat with no peppers, onion or even cheese. There wasn’t even cheese on top of the chimichangas. NO salsa in our bag… only chips. The beans were hard & rice was dry. We won’t be back here! YUK!!!

I came here for a pre birthday celebration and it was hilarious. The food was greasy and the drink was watered down. Then the manager gone come to the table trying to to tell me that I wasn’t seeing what I saw talking about you ate it and I told him as I was eating all I seen was grease in my dog gone food and he wanted to argue with me like I can’t see no cheese sauce and the drink wasn’t frozen it didn’t have that much slush in it so liquidity it didn’t make sense to me. Very bad experience this time poise the rice wasn’t the same color as I’ve been ordering. I knew something wasn’t right when I saw the food and drink come to the table, but they want to get you drunk so you wouldn’t notice… This is the one Downtown Memphis

IF YOU ARE BLACK THIS RESTAURANT IS NOT FOR YOU. The food is basic, margaritas are basically just mix, and the waiter’s attitude is good as long as you don’t ask them to do their job. The location on Perkins is 10x better. It was packed and they were understaffed. Instead of telling people it would be a wait, they were seating people on top of each other, literally had dinner with an older couple I never met until tonight. Also we made it 30 mins before them but guess who got serviced first. Wanted a drink before I ate, but my friend ordered food. The waiter got mad, brung his food and never came back. I waved him over, asked him if he was not gonna serve me can I get another waiter, we go back and forth about it. I can understand if he was all over the place he had 5 tables right by each other it’s nothing to walk past and ask are you ready yet or are you okay. Anyway I ordered three tacos, my tortillas was hard and torn so I ask for more tortillas and he snapped. Told me no threw his hands up and walked off. Spoke with the manager about it she gave me fresh tortillas, no apology or anything to excuse his behavior. They treat you and service you based on the color of your skin. Look through the comment this restaurant is not for us.

This was THE BEST Mexican food I’ve had in a long time! There was a short wait to be seated, but it was more than worth it! The chops and salsa were divine! The salsa was so fresh and the chips were served warm. The menu was vast and did not disappoint! The margaritas were perfect! The portions were HUGE! The service was 5 STAR, and the price was very reasonable! Definitely would visit again the next time I’m in Memphis.

This midtown restraunt has become a favorite of ours. Even when they’re slammed you’re seated and served quickly and efficiently. The food is ALWAYS delicious and the staff are very friendly and extremely efficient. I would definitely recommend this location! They have a great taco salad, their cheese dip is awesome, and if you’ve never had a cheesecake burrito… they have a delicious one!! I’d definitely recommend the midtown Memphis location!

This place is hands down the BEST Mexican food you can get in the city of Memphis. The waitstaff is wonderful and kind, the kitchen is quick as a whip and your food is out before you can blink an eye. We always have such a gooood meal here and the margaritas are kick ass too! Elizabeth is the server we like to request- she is an angel! We were seated tonight at our usual corner table and the people next to us were extremely rude and using profanity (in front of their own child too) and Elizabeth still spoke to them with patience and grace. It blows my mind that people get so mad over not liking the way food tastes???? ANYWAYS all this to say we LOVE Los Comales and will be regulars forever.
