Food was delicious. The sunburn pizza, Caesar salad and garlic knots were all good. Only complaint is they forgot about our garlic knots until after the pizza was delivered. The bartender comped it though so that was greatly appreciated.

Slyce in Mad Beach never disappoints! We love coming here for dinner because the food is always excellent, the servers are so friendly & attentive, and the atmosphere is perfect! You can watch live sports and listen to live music outside while taking in the views of the water.

I really recommend the house salad! It is amazing – the dressing is made from scratch and is delicious! The cauliflower crust pizza is gluten free and so tasty! They have plain gluten free crust but the cauliflower is way better.

This is officially our favorite pizza place. Yes, it’s quite a haul from New Tampa to Madeira Beach, but the pizza (and if you time it right – the sunset) is WELL worth it! My wife loves their Cuban Pizza on a cauliflower crust….and it truly tastes JUST LIKE a cuban sandwich. I have tried several different pizzas- never disappointed. I just tried the French Dip…and it was GREAT! One suggestion, they need to get live music out there on the weekends!

This was by far the worst restaurant experience I have ever had in Florida.

I came in with my spouse and our children expecting a normal family dinner. After we were seated, we sat there for 45 minutes without anyone even coming to our table at all. No server, no drinks, nothing. During that time I made eye contact with the person who appeared to be a manager multiple times, clearly trying to signal that our table had been completely overlooked and that we needed a server. Despite this, no one came over and no one acknowledged us.

To make matters worse, two groups that were seated after us had their orders taken, received their food, and finished eating before anyone even spoke to us.

After about 45 minutes, a waitress finally came to our table. This was the first time we had been acknowledged since being seated. I asked her if there had been some kind of issue with our table being missed. After that, we were still left waiting again.

Another 45 minutes passed before we asked to speak with a manager. At that point we had been sitting there for about an hour and a half.

A man eventually came out with our food. At first it seemed like he might have been the manager. I asked him why it had taken so long and why multiple other tables had been served long before us. I even asked him directly if there was some kind of race issue involved because the situation made no sense. He denied that and told us he would remove items from the bill because of the delay.

By that point the experience had already been ruined and we simply wanted to leave and pay for what little we had received.

When we went to the front to pay, a different man came out who clearly appeared to be the actual manager. He asked what he could do about the situation. We explained everything and told him we just wanted to pay and leave, assuming the adjustment that had already been promised would be honored. Instead, he said we would have to pay the full bill.

I told him that was not acceptable after everything that had happened and that I would only be paying for my spouse’s drink. He agreed and charged us for just that.

Then another man a shorter guy who appeared to possibly be the owner suddenly accused my spouse and me of cussing out the waiter, which is completely false. No one cursed. No one yelled. And we certainly would never behave like that in front of our children.

He insisted that we take the conversation outside, which we agreed to simply to avoid causing a scene in the restaurant.

Once outside, he put his hands on me while continuing to repeat the false accusation that we had cursed at staff. I immediately told him to take his hands off me. At that point all we wanted to do was leave peacefully and for them to stop falsely accusing us of something that never happened.

The entire situation was handled extremely poorly from start to finish. Being ignored for 45 minutes before even seeing a server, waiting a total of about an hour and a half, being told one thing about the bill and then something completely different, and then being falsely accused and physically touched when trying to leave is completely unacceptable.

The only positive thing I can say is that the food itself was decent, but the service and how the staff handled the situation ruined the entire experience.

We will absolutely not be returning.

–These are the employees who accused us of cursing, and the short guy who put his hands on me.

Had a great night out at Slyce! Bandingo was so much fun, the food was awesome and it was the perfect way to end a travel day after flying in from New York.

I really don’t know if they were just having a bad night or what… but I came here for the first time Friday night on 10/10 – all I ordered was one individual personal pizza…thinking it would be easy and quick, and had such a terrible and stressful experience. For starters, the parking lot is so chaotic and that in itself was so stressful. Next, there needs to be signs or instructions for new customers on where to go for a to-go order. I was aimlessly wandering around the place trying to figure out where to pick up my order. I asked a hostess and she told me there’s a carry out window through the restaurant, as if I should have somehow known that? You have to walk through the entire restaurant and go outside and wait for your order there) – not to mention, I had no idea if my order was ready or not, because their ordering app kept glitching and was not working. I ordered my pizza at 5:55 pm and it took almost an entire hour to be ready. I walked out at 6:40. They also got my order wrong? I specifically asked for removal of green olives and pepperoni and they left them on. They finally gave me my pizza when it was ready and forgot the ranch that I ordered and paid for, so I had to ask for them to go back and get that as well. I will not be back to this place.

Slyce is a favorite for me and my family. There’s almost always room at the bar (our go-to), and the staff is consistently friendly and welcoming. We came in for brunch recently and loved the specials—especially the $12 mimosa pitchers. Rebecca took great care of us, and the food was fresh as always. On our way out, we met the owner who surprised us with Lightning tickets for the next night’s game. Totally unexpected and just a really cool, generous moment. We’ll definitely be back.

My wife and I stopped in for a lunch and we were not disappointed. The meatball sub I had was perfect, my wife’s turkey club with avocado was excellent. It is a nice place to hang out, watch the boats and wildlife on the water. Best thing was our bartender Natalee. She was the perfect balance between personable and professional. She made it a great dining experience. We will be back!

Slyce Madeira Beach offers a good dining experience with a variety of pizzas. The marina and sunset view from the outdoor deck is one worth enjoying.

The location offers a lot of parking and would even allow enough room for an 18 wheeler tractor trailer combination.

As for food, I would recommend the Chicago Deep Dish pizza for starters.

The only caveat to this location is the lack of staff for the crowds. So unless you’re sitting at the bar, prepare for a wait for the entire process (from getting a table, to ordering your entree, to getting your food). The food is definitely worth the wait.
