Oh Dennis is definitely a favorite little joint on the North side of Racine. If you were driving by, you could easily miss it. But it is worth finding as they are excellent at serving wonderfully juicy and almost fall off the bone ribs and charred steaks. The apps are quite good as well as you could easily just get pre frozen and thickly battered veggies… but here they are thinly battered and come in huge chunks to dip in homemade ranch. I especially enjoyed the bacon wrapped chestnuts with a soy brown sugar dip. Don’t be surprised if there is a wait… unless you get there right at 4 pm! But cozy up to the bar, when there is an opening, and enjoy a classic Wisconsin cocktail or beer. The servers are friendly, but you can tell this ain’t their first rodeo and they certainly know what they are doing! The atmosphere is tight,.dark, and lit by neon signs around the room and the iar is heavy with the smell of charcoal and smoke. Always a good stop!

Worth the wait. The food was very tasty and prepared well. The ribs remind me of how my mother would make them in the oven/broiler. I didn’t rate it higher only because I expected the ribs to be smoked.
The fries are excellent. I think they’re made fresh and never frozen. The other sides (onion rings, coleslaw) are standard restaurant food services like Sysco or GFS.

Came here with another couple on a Thursday at 6:15 pm. Only had to wait 10 minutes. We all got the ribs which were excellent! The salad and coleslaw was also great. The only downside was the old fashion’s. They were light on the alcohol.

Came in at 5pm. Was told it would be 30 minutes by the hostess. At 645, asked her when we would be seated. She said she never told me 30 minutes. She told me an hour and a half. I know that’s NOT what she said because I would have walked out and come back another time. . It’s.now 7pm. Leaving for a different restaurant. Disappointed…Ribs are usually great. NEVER coming back. Hostess did a lot of wandering. I KNOW she said 30 minutes not an hour and a half. There were 3 and 4 2 person tables open for quite some time.

Get the ribs! We shared ribs and a filet. The filet is far better at Shogun but those ribs were unbelievably delicious. So good. Tip: we got there at 4pm when they open and the place was packed. They don’t serve dinner until 5pm. We missed the first round of seating. Was seated at 5:20pm. No reservations. Be prepared to wait and go earlier than 4pm. I noticed at 6:30pm the seating lightened up so that may be a better time to come. I will be back. Thank you for you, OH Dennis!!!

Oh Dennis! is a great place to eat. The best ribs in the world! We went tonight and my wife had the full rack of ribs… and I tried the Fish Fry. Everything was delicious! Huge portions! The service is helpful, friendly, and fast. I can’t wait to go back again! Highly recommended!!!

Had the baby back ribs, salad and the bacon wrapped water chestnuts . Ribs were fall off the bone tasty and tender, chestnuts not as good as the packing house but good . Could skip the bread that comes with the meal . Service was great
