I just visited Artillery Brewing Company’s Drexel Hill location for the first time, and I was impressed. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the beer lineup is a great mix of classic European styles and a modern IPA.

Here’s my feedback on the 4 flavors I brought home: Brown Bess was smooth and malty with just the right touch of caramel. The Militia Helles Lager was crisp and clean, and The Volley Pilsner had that bright, refreshing finish I look for. The Fog of War IPA delivered juicy tropical flavor without being overly bitter.

You can tell there’s real care behind the craft. I’m already looking forward to visiting their West Chester and Pottstown locations next. Highly recommend.

We have been to the Drexel Hill location three times. My son loves the Beer Flights. The Crab Dip and the Fried Mozzarella were very good. The Mac and Cheese was delicious and I enjoyed the Tomato Soup Grilled Cheese Combo.

Hidden treasures are found in spontaneity! When a restaurant I love didn’t open until 3pm and it was noon, a flex and decision needed to made. My friend suggested The Artillery Brewing Co. in Drexel Hill and it was the best laid new plan!

Our server Susie, was incredibly welcoming when we entered. She told us to pick where we wanted to sit and she would be right with us. It was a beautiful day, so outdoor seating called us.

This establishment is large inside and out. I love the aroma of a smoker and guess who has one?! Their menu is creatively crafted and perfectly named. First Regiment are your starters, Second Regiment are mains… Super festive and inviting.

Okay, okay… What about the food you ask?! If you adore smoked wings or fried wings… You’ll drop the mic when you taste their smoked, fried wings!! Absolutely DELICIOUS!!

Susie told us about the Alabama White sauce, which is slightly sweet and spicy. We got that, Buffalo, ranch and blue cheese on the side of naked wings. SMDH… that Alabama White sauce was so dern good, it would make you slap yo mama! But since violence is not the answer and I wouldn’t want you to get slapped back by yo momma… I wouldn’t suggest you do this

Then there was the “CRABBY” crab dip… Another hit! I ordered the Salmon Salad Sandwich and my friend had the Musket Burger (see what I’m saying about the creative naming)… Since we were full from the First Regiment and cocktails ( Lemon Drop Martini, Cosmopolitan and Mango beers ) we just tasted a little and boxed the rest of the Second Regiments to go.

All of the staff we encountered were really nice and friendly. Exactly what people need these days.

I highly recommend you check them out… Immediately!

The sign as you entered read wait for hostess to be seated. No one ever came, we sat ourselves. We weren’t attended to right away, finally the bartender approached us and asked what we wanted to drink. Apparently they have no wait staff until later (this was around 1pm) We weren’t handed menus or told where to find them (QR Code) I get it, the guy is the bartender, but at this point we were off on the wrong foot I feel like. I ordered the Fog of War, it was a decent hazy. The food came, the Caesar salad was just ok, croutons didn’t have flavor and the chicken wasn’t great. The smash burger was good, but seemed like a frozen patty and not a true smash burger. I will say the place is very cool, and well themed. The experience was just OK

Beers were WONDERFUL! Awesome flights, great choices especially if you’re not an IPA type drinker. Service was good and attentive. We had the Artillery Board for the price it was good. Burger was OK, and bread pudding was nicely done. We’ll be back. Only downfall was it was REALLY loud. No sound cushioning, we could barely hear our server and it wasn’t music but everyone’s voices. Looking forward to going back!

I’ve been coming here on and off for a while, and while the beer and food selection is solid — I’d give it a 4 out of 5 — the experience lately has been disappointing. The waitress during my last visit (Saturday,10.18) was noticeably rude, which really soured the evening. On top of that, the live entertainment didn’t hit the mark at all — more distracting (bad) than enjoyable. Hoping things improve soon as the space is pretty cool, but needs some tweaking. The fact that I can walk here is a plus.

This place is great and has a cool vibe. The beer was very clean with layered flavors. The food was excellent. Reasonable prices. You need to come try this place out.

The menu is rather small with not a lot of options, not much on the cocktail menu either. Service was phenomenal nice outside space to eat, and a great spot to just stop at after work. Deff worth a try.

Had a lovely time at Artillery. Food was good but it’s mostly about the environment. They have a new outdoor space that is so great to just hangout in. Really great vibe.
