For our first visit here we started our meal with the pretzel appetizer, and let me tell you, it was enormous—definitely an impressive and delicious way to kick things off. It had an ok cheese sauce but would’ve been better with beer cheese.
For the main course, the food only got better. The filet was cooked to absolute perfection and was meltingly tender. Paired with a side of their incredibly creamy mac and cheese, it was the ideal, comforting combination. Yum!!!
Since it was my birthday, I simply couldn’t resist ordering the creme brulee for dessert. It was the perfect sweet finish to a fantastic celebration!
From start to finish, the quality of the food and the ambiance were top-notch. We had a wonderful time and I honestly can’t wait to go back soon!

FINALLY….the happiness I felt when I began biting into my meal was much awaited. We actually slept on coming to dine here. We came a few months ago and the wait was long so we left. We are new to the area and have tried more than a few restaurants already. Most were moderate at the same price points. I eat for fun. I travel for good food. This is easily the best meal I’ve had in the area. Aside from the fish tacos on LBI at La Bamba but it’s a different meal of course (shameless plug they are amazing). Our Server Jake was awesome. He pointed us in all the right directions. I’m sad I’m going on a diet next month because the pork chop was incredible. It shall be reserved as my cheat meal I suppose. Everything that came out from the kitchen looked fresh and appetizing. I don’t know how anyone could leave a negative review. We will be back … can’t wait to bring our friends and family here when they visit. The pork chop I had was the soy pineapple btw- don’t skip out on the Brussels either.

Went there for 1st time and was meeting family member who was slightly behind us. Hostess was friendly and although she wouldn’t seat us until all parties were present, she gave us a fifteen minute window and held a table. Perfectly understandable. Place was packed. Jake our server was fantastic! Pleasant and quickly attended to us. Had the deviled eggs both ways to start. Better then mom’s. Pork chop melted in my mouth, salad entry was large.. we were there for late lunch. Can’t wait to go back for dinner. Ask for Jake, very nice young man!! Forgot—-the pork belly was as tender as cotton candy.

Chicken chop sauce was a bit salty, but the portions were way bigger than expected, especially all three items I ordered!

We celebrated a 21st birthday party at this restaurant. The experience was overall spectacular, the service was very helpful and friendly. They mostly offer seafood, but have other selections such as chicken and pork as well. We went on a Friday night and it was very busy, so consider making a reservation. Also, it’s a bit pricey but worth it!

Still chasing that Fish Taco experience
The Old Causeway is an establishment that I have frequented before. The first time I went, I thought their fish tacos were absolutely amazing, potentially the best I have ever had. This most recent trip, the food was still good but the fish tacos felt a little disappointing compared to the last time because of how amazing they were the first time. Overall I would say the Fish Tacos were really good, the Big Cheese was good as well, & the Pulled Pork Sandwich was great. This place is terribly crowded & the parking was awful. If not for the parking, this would get a 5 star review.
