We really enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and service! We ordered couple dishes! Since I can’t eat avocado they gave me a tray of salsa all of them were very good!
I ordered falafel tacos but without the mushrooms (I am allergic) so it looks different but they were really good!
My husband ordered arroz chaufa. Flavor reminded him of home (he’s hispanic though not Venezuelan). The corns we shared were really good! Please go and support our new restaurant in town!! It is Fun and nice place to be! Reasonable price and good food 🙂

Came here for dinner. It was empty and there wasn’t anyone to greet or seat us. Wasn’t sure if it was open but we went in anyways. We had to wait a while for someone to take our order and the waiter didn’t look too happy to be there. The food came out fairly fast but most of it was lukewarm unfortunately. The patacones were overcooked but still good. The other plates were also good but would have been better if served hot. We only saw the server in the beginning and when he was bringing the check…The restaurant was really cold so bring a jacket. Maybe it was a bad night but wouldn’t come here very often.

Though I am always hesitant to write a negative review – I feel like I need to for this place. We had Grubhub deliver our first order from here and we were excited to try something new. Once it showed up, the guac and salsa were pretty tasty. Then we tried the other items, here is the summary: the Patacones were way overcooked and had minimal plantains, the beef was dried out and rubbery, the Birria had no sauce, and the ceviche made me sick (and still am) ~ not kidding. Overall, I think they some some major quality issues to address and kinks to work out. I would suggest waiting to order (or not ever ordering) from this place. They are seriously gonna hurt someone sending out food (like the ceviche) that isn’t cooked correctly. Sorry to be negative but we need others to be made aware. And before anyone suggests “it was delivered” and the appearance can’t be helped, I know this…but the quality just wasn’t what it should be.

Came here for the first time with my bf bc we like to try new places. This restaurant is so cute, and modern. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Lots of great food options. and house-made drinks. I had the ceviche and it was delicious. Nachos were banging- wish there were more. Portion size was great. Everyone needs to try something here. We will be coming back!

The bar is not worth it. I got kicked out when I under 21 because my friend who is over 21 dropped their drink. Way too strict and I lost twenty dollars over it. I even had the X on my hands proving I’m under twenty and CANNOT drink. Again not worth it

I was absolutely manhandled by one of the bouncers. His name is Miguel, and he wouldn’t give me his last name either because he knows he was way too rough with me. I stepped out to kiss my boyfriend, that’s on me, and when I tried to go back in he didn’t let me, even though I had already paid $30 cover AND had proof of it. He wouldn’t even let me pay to get back in. When Miguel was telling me to leave, I tried to politely tell him that I had already paid. He grabbed me by the upper arm and shoved me away, genuinely as hard as he could. I have bruises from his fingers on my arm. This is NOT acceptable. I had a bunch of people witness this and ask if I was okay. This is defintely not an isolated incident. I went and cried behind an electrical box for the rest of the night. Miguel absolutely ruined my night and makes me and every other woman at the bar feel VERY unsafe. Please deal with this IMMEDIATELY or I will have to take it further. I do not want anyone to have to deal with what I went through last night. Attached I have a picture of the bruises he left on me. I am a 5’2 petite girl. I was not being aggressive. I was never a threat to him. This is a disgusting abuse of power.

Little did I know I went up to visit my son at Virginia tech. He took me to this place. We hadn’t eaten all day. I wasn’t expecting much. I asked if they served food. They said they did and wow- not only was it good it was probably the best food I’ve eaten in Blacksburg. We’ve eaten it all the restaurants. All the places that I thought were good. But this was over the top- the ethnic blend of the tacos. The different tacos you could get the falafel was out of this world with the sauces that came with it. Not only that, there was not really a a salad on the menu- but they went out of their way to prepare me one. When the food came out the bartender went out of his way to find us a table as we had just driven 4 hours again. They could have just said oh well and served the many college students the multiple drinks but they went out of their way and the food was phenomenal and it’s well worth going and checking it out.
