I went here for lunch today with colleagues from work. I am looking forward to coming back to this restaurant for dinner. This restaurant has a strong southwestern decor. The restaurant is well kept and clean. The staff was attentive, professional, and friendly. The food was also fantastic and I look forward to exploring their menu at our next visit. For lunch, I had the beef bites off the appetizer menu. It was delicious and a good portion size for a meal. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The Villa family opened their restaurant’s doors in 1975 in one of Old Town’s original buildings dating back to 1785. An authentic and comfortable restaurant with welcoming staff and servers. We popped in for an early and quiet dinner before the evening rush. Tasty and well prepared burgers cooked to your liking. A friend whom visited previously says the margaritas are very well prepared. The only disappointment was that the fries weren’t cooked extra crisp by request. We enjoyed the Black n’ Bleu burger & the Green Chile- Cheeseburger. Overall a nice visit to one of Old Town’s time endured establishments.

My wife and I dined at High Noon for the first time recently and unfortunately left very disappointed.

We both ordered steaks cooked medium. When they arrived, both were severely undercooked—closer to rare. We brought this to our server’s attention. My wife’s steak was taken back, but when it returned it was WELL DONE, and none of the sides were replaced, despite being cold by that point.

We let our server know that both steaks missed the mark significantly. At no point did the manager, Michelle, come over to speak with us. She walked past our table and looked at us, but never acknowledged the issue or attempted to address our experience.I included a picture of the steak that I dissected to find edible pieces.

I own businesses here in Old Town Albuquerque as well as at the Sunport, and I consistently stress to my managers the importance of making every paying customer feel valued—especially when something goes wrong. Mistakes happen; how they’re handled is what matters. Unfortunately, this was not handled at all.

Before posting this we reached out to the owner Carla. She wrote us back a few days later saying she was going to make it right and was sorry we had that experience. She never followed through with what she said she would do and we never heard back from anyone. My only regret is I can’t leave 0 stars on this review.

Excellent food in a historical atnosphere. Friendly service as well. Highly recommend the green chilli stew. Adult beverages are weak i would pass. Sizes are very small as well. Margaritas are in bourbon glasses.

Best red chile steak bites I’ve had in many years. Shhhhh, don’t tell grandma, but even better than hers. Service was great. We’ll be back next time we’re in Abq.

The food was amazing and the staff and atmosphere were just as wonderful. Went here on a Friday night a few weeks ago. I are reservations ahead of time to avoid a wait but it didn’t sound like it was too bad either way. The atmosphere was very pleasant. For as busy as it was you wouldn’t know it as the area is set up nicely and maintains a fairly quiet noise level. The server was amazing. She not only gave me great service but even wrote me a list of fun things to do in the area. I will definitely be going back here again and highly recommend.

Also according to the manager I spoke to their beef is sourced through local farms in the area and they buy it by the slab with someone staffed to make the cuts. Even better!

Love the vibe, food was kind of bland. But great service. Cocktails might as well have been Kool-Aid… No kick to them.
