We ordered the chicken tender appetizer the beer cheese appetizer and for entrees we ordered the Kentucky hot brown the soup and sandwich and the Turkey club sandwich.
Our group really appreciated the Halloween decorations.
Food was good. Prices were reasonable. Wait times were short and service was great. Bathroom left something to be desired

What a cool spot! Our server was so nice and the food was excellent. Really enjoyed the ambiance and they have TVs everywhere. This looks to be an awesome place to watch a game or spend an evening with friends.

The buffalo chicken sandwich had so much blue cheese all I tasted was penicillin did overtook the taste of the buffalo chicken lettuce tomato and the bread. I brought it to the attention of the gentleman that was at the bar and all he said is hes sorry. The fries were good and atmosphere was good but that’s all I can say about this trip.

I ordered the cheeseburger with tater tots and a sweet tea. My friend ordered a cheeseburger with coleslaw and a sweet tea. I was disappointed that they didn’t have sliced pickles to go on the cheeseburger. But the cheeseburger was excellent except for the price of being about $14 for the whole plate. And they also charge for the sweet tea which was mediocre. I don’t know if they didn’t have enough waitresses that day but we had to get up and get our own mayonnaise even though we ordered it. The place was really really clean and had lots of of patrons there.

I had a chopped hamburger on a hoagie roll. With french fries and it was very good really nice portion the french fries were Krispy and everything was delicious. For dessert I had a coffee cheesecake that was tasty. The service was fast and the server was very knowledgeable about the menu.

Love, local businesses, especially ones that have sustained decades of service to the community. Portions are large and Refills on coffee and water come quickly. Personally, I like that they use a better grade of wheat bread for the toast. And the country ham is legit. Not the thin kind – the good kind.

There was a farmers market going on outside when we visited. I had pancakes, bacon and home fries. All three were cooked to perfection. Sweet tea was delicious. I also had a mimosa spiked with peach vodka and I’m going to wake one that way from now on all the time! Our waitress was very nice, took our orders quickly, made recommendations and was on top of making sure we enjoyed our meal. Atmosphere at this place is stellar. We are big soccer fans and didn’t know this was a soccer bar/ restaurant! Visiting from Columbus Ohio and will definitely be back. Thank you!

Winchell’s has been on my “need to try” list for over a year. I have always heard good things. We don’t live on that side of town, so we just made our way there recently. Honestly, my husband wanted to go somewhere else but since he couldn’t really decide where we ended up at Winchell’s. I have nothing but good things to say, and same for my husband. The server (Parker) was exceptional. He was genuine and kept our drinks filled. We started with the potato skins and as you can see from the picture they did not skimp on the toppings. When Parker brought out the meals he was even more impressive. I got the BBQ sandwich and after he sat it down he said. “You may want to check the bottom bun. They get soggy fast.” I checked and it was in fact soggy from the juices that had leaked from the BBQ. He brought me a new bun immediately. The BBQ sandwich was flavorful and the slaw and BBQ worked great together. Just a heads up I had to unlock my jaw to eat it. (not complaining) I also got the Macaroni & Cheese and it was super creamy and delicious. My husband got chili and wings. He liked the chili but loved the wings. He got buffalo flavor and asked the waiter if it was homemade and if they sell it by the jar. The answer was yes and yes as they sell it by the quart and pint. We didn’t get a jar that day but my husband has since went back to get a jar of the buffalo sauce.

Stopped in for lunch at the bar; 1st time. Tom, bartender, was jammed with takeout and us. Pleasant, attentive, known by most at the bar. Had the Gourmet Cheeseburger- what a delight. Juicy, cooked perfectly, nicely trimmed, fabulous fries and plentiful. Thought Carson’s on Old Todd was best burger in town but Winchell’s takes the prize
