The chicken gyros are one of the best I’ve had! Even compared to the New York Street vendors! Lol the manager/cook is not stingy on his servings and the chicken had a lot of flavor. I will definitely be trying more of this hole in the wall.

This is a counter service establishment where you order at the counter and they bring your food out. The workers were very friendly! We had the king tut plate-falafel, hummus, baba ganoush, dolmas, pita (some pieces however were really chewy) and tabouli. (About $14) My friend had a burger and fries-not a great choice (overcooked and lukewarm), but this is a mediterranean restaurant, not a burger joint. The King Tut plate was good, portions appropriate for price. It’s a large space with lots of tables. Looked like they had a lot of beer and wine choices. We went for lunch and they were not busy on a weekday.

I ordered the kabob which was usually good, but this time it was tough and the lady cashier was very accommodating, however the cook was very rude when I ask for different dish since the Lamb kabob was tough. That rude cook should not be in the food service industry, he is miserable!

One of the best places to eat around the plaza, and it has been for years. Also, while prices everywhere have been going up, Cleopatra Cafe has kept theirs very reasonable.

This place is always a 10/10 and mt favorite restaurant for Mediterranean food in Santa Fe. The service is always great and the food is reasonably priced for the great quality and flavor. I usually go for a gyro but the plates (pictured is the Nile Plate) are super tasty and worth your buck

Stay away from it. We ordered a tabuleh and it tasted from the fridge, no flavour, nothing. I am Mediterranean and you can trust me

I love Cleopatra Cafe! Great place to stop in for Mediterranean food if you’re walking around downtown shopping. I had a Greek salad with gyro meat that was big enough for 2 people to share. I didn’t mind coming home with leftovers.

Their chicken and lamb gyros are amazing. I get it for my lunch break all the time.

Employees are nice but the food was sub-par.
We both ordered chicken gyros. The chicken was tasteless. I’m pretty sure it’s boiled chicken with no seasoning. Also, it was very wet, so the plate had a pond of liquid on it once we started eating, which meant it was impossible to put the gyro down again without soaking the pita. Fortunately, there was some hot sauce on the table to add some flavor, but this meant it really didn’t taste like a good Greek gyro.

I’ll preface this that i love gyros and always get extra meat and sauce, but the poor rating is purely only for the customer service I received when I visited while traveling through town for work.
The food was quite good, and very generous with the toppings and well worth the extra charge, however i was pressed for time and the young lady at the register seemed more interested in what was going on with her phone on top of the drink counter when i tried to place my order, and gave a bit of a “look” when i let her know how long i had been waiting for my gyro that was on the prep area.
I can be understanding if someone is having a bad day, but its disappointing to see the business supporting poor work ethic.
