This was our first time at Colton’s Steakhouse, and everything was excellent. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, the staff were friendly, and our server was attentive. I had the country fried steak with smashed potatoes and fried okra—hot, fresh, and full of flavor. My son had the sirloin with salad and steak fries, and he really enjoyed it. Great food and great service—we’ll definitely be back!
Only negative is that there’s not one closer to home. Make Valley Station your next KY location!

I dined here four of the five nights I was in town! Of course, it was conveniently located up the hill from my hotel BUT I didn’t have to come here. I chose to come here because the atmosphere, staff, and food were delicious! Definitely recommend. I’ve had the blackened salmon, Cesar salad, chicken strips and smashed potatoes!! Very good!! Highly recommend. Check it!

While staying at the hotel next door I walked over and had dinner at Colton’s multiple times this week. Very fair prices for the amount of food you get. The ribs and the country fried steak were both pretty good, the catfish was ok, but I think I liked the Montana burger the best, with the bacon cheeseburger coming in at a close second. All of the staff that I interacted with were polite and friendly, but Betsy was definitely a stand out. Very nice and attentive. Would recommend, would return.

The bread they start you off with is delicious, a little on the sweet side ( I am not used to this, but it was delicious)
The cheesy fries we had to start off with are the best fries I have ever had. I am so glad we ordered it.
The loaded chicken was so soft and flavorful, so juicy, literally filled me with happiness from the first bite.
The sirloin steak was so good, very juicy, and perfectly cooked.
All the sides were incredible, I don’t have a bad word to say about this place.
Absolutely loved it.

Very nice roadhouse style steak spot. Clean with full staff and great customer service. Prices are very reasonable, especially with portion to cost ratio. I went with the ribs and catfish (pictured), very fresh and cooked just right. Couldn’t ask for more.

I took my wife and son to this steak house on a whim. I was hoping we’d get in without a long wait. I was pleasantly surprised to get sat down right away.
We ordered the cheese stick appetizer, and my boy and I ordered steaks. My wife chose the salmon. Now I didn’t know what to expect. We’re used to waiting for seats at Texas Roadhouse and Longhorn, and getting a quality cooked steak.
This was no different, and perhaps even a bit better! The steaks were generously seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Our server was as attentive as she possibly could be. The baked potatoes were cooked perfectly as well.
Simply put, I was completely wowed by the quality of food we received from this steak house. We will be returning, really soon!

Service was great, the server was on point and very attentive. Never had a empty glass.
Food, was well made and a good Smokey taste in the steak and the fried chicken and potatoes were not bad.

Great food and great service. My family of four dined in today, after picking up some items on base and we were very satisfied. We all ate for $91.26. We even orders an appetizer. The food portions were so big, we had no Choice but to take Togo boxes home. We will stop by this restaurant again, next time we visit the base. Oh and the server was great.

We stopped here for lunch on our way to visit the Patton Museum.We were seated promptly, surrounded by furnishings that had a western nuance … and a little Texas, too. It was peak lunch hour, yet our food was served promptly. The menu offers a variety of burgers, salads and catfish. They claim their steaks are handcut daily. Colton’s also offer mesquite grilled chicken and shrimp. There is full service alcohol choices available. My burger was big and juicy. The fries were hot and crisp. They accomodated my request to lettuce wrap my burger. Recommend without reservation for lunch.
