This was surprisingly the best meal that we had on our road trip to Sioux Falls. We stayed at the hotel right next door and walked over for breakfast on a Sunday. Our server was absolutely terrific. We had eggs Benedict and a smoked sausage combo platter. Everything was delicious. Service was quick.

2 am is perfect. Server amazing. Its quite which is super nice after a long work week. Its so quite i heard the ac kick on. OJ is concentrate but idgaf because its what is needed right meow! Dont usually write reviews like this. However after a long work week and a tremendous amount of stress. This is what i needed. Server was awesome ill find out her name shortly as i just been sat and ordered. Christina was an awesome server. Really came threw with the stellar customer service!

The worst experience in decades. Came in to eat. Tried to get a seat. A guy waiter started getting in my business and said I can’t bring in anything. Just left my hotel next door to the restaurant and didn’t have anywhere to put my 3 things yet. Tried to take it up with the manager, saw the waiter guy talk to the manager before I got to speak with him. And then it turned badly. I told him the story of how I’m just trying to eat there. He turned me away. Making this one of the worst places in this area. I’d give it a negative rating if I could… They acted like they didn’t care at all. I would like to talk with the owners of this place to show how badly I was treated… I won’t forget this… When I get to be President I will buy the whole chain and terminate those 2 fools… How crazy is that your not allowed to come in sit down and eat cause some waiter fool wants to get all up in your business. I’ve never been treated like that before and it’s not ok… I hope thousands see this and shame them for there bad behavior. I did nothing wrong and just wanted to eat and sit down for a while.

Ordered thru door dash. Ordered a grand slam came with none of the dipping sauces so that ruins it. No silverware either. Onion ring are so soggy you can’t even pick them up. And being I work for a diner myself that does takeout as well when ordering pancakes should always make sure they have silverware. So overall pretty disappointed. Take out orders are just as important as dining in…

This restaurant was surprising as I have eaten at several of this chain in the past. We got a large amount of good food at a relatively small price. Decent salad/soup bar plus a main course under $20. Would definitely eat here again.

I’ve been going to the E 10th location for 21 years. The parking lot can be a little challenging as it doesn’t have a lot of room to back up larger vehicles. They seat you fast. You can’t beat the panhandler burger meal with a shake or dessert when you are exhausted from working and don’t want to cook. I’ve tried pastas, breakfast meals, and the BLT also. They keep a decent fresh salad bar with two soups and some kind of fluff or jello for the kids. The pies and muffins are usually well stocked, but go fast. The service is always good and they work hard to keep everything clean. I’ve been here at all times of the day and night (open 24 hours) and it is always busy.

Absolutely love this restaurant. Its exceptionally clean and the staff is amazing Jason was our server and he was awesome. Salad bar never disappoints and the homemade soup is delicious when we are in town this is our go to.

Wholesome Weirdos

If you’re someone who believes that “good ol’ home cookin” is a type of cuisine, portion size is important and waitstaff that are quick and friendly make for a good time dining out, then the Fryn’ Pan is for you. Think unpretentious coffee shop/diner vibe complete with chicken and dumpling soup, pot roast, burgers and a freshly stocked soup and salad bar (I mean it, like 4 types of delicious homemade soup). At 4pm on a Wednesday the place was filled with regulars and old timers. Seniors can find an extensive menu just for them to help stretch that dollar a little. Beef and vegetable soup, salad bar (delectable blue cheese) and a bowl of spaghetti hit the spot after a long drive and maneuvering around Sioux Falls.
Protip: Wednesdays are Senior Day where they offer a 20% off discount, 5-9pm.
Salad Bar hours are 11am to 11pm.
