I want to mention the Pizza. It was little thicker than a thin-crust. But the crust was nice and crispy. It was crispy till we finish the Lunch. One of the best crust.
Another Visit: We tried black beans burger and sweet potato spaghetti. Both were amazing.
Service was pretty slow, but very friendly. The dishes were very good. I had never had beets with salmon but it was delicious and the salmon was cooked perfectly.
I bought some elderberry syrup as well!
The second time we went, we loved the band-The Tim Farrel Band. Lead singer has an amazing voice! The food, sadly was mediocre. We had the “pretzel bites” which were a dinner roll with the attempt of being soaked in butter and coarse salt, which mostly came off-the dip was fair though. I had Mushroom Ravioli with blackened shrimp. The flavor was bland and mushrooms overpowering. I should have read the description better because I feel like cheese ravioli with sautéed mushrooms, spinach and broccoli would have been much better than mushroom stuffed ravioli. My husband had a pizza, not impressed. I wish they carried Malibu Rum.
We will probably come back and try a different appetizer and a hand held sandwich. Third times a charm-we hope!
If it weren’t for the vibe, we would prefer to go to Liberty Social for their food.
My girlfriend and I came for dinner late on a Saturday evening, had no problem getting a reservation or finding parking. Our server was lovely, prompt, took care of us, but didn’t hover. Inside was quiet enough to talk. Food came out quickly and was pipping hot.
Food is really the highlight here. I had the Mushroom Ravioli which was one of the best versions I’ve ever had. The corn added a lovely sweetness against the umami of the parmesean and mushrooms. I was a bit worried about the red chili flakes as I’m not a huge spicy food person, but it just added a bit of crunch and warmth.
My girlfriend had the Classic Bison Burger well done with bacon, cheese and sautéed onion and fries. The burger was perfectly cooked, just brown all the way through and not burned out of existence.
They have a cool map at the entrance that shows where their suppliers are in Ohio and make sure to read the story about the restaurant the owner had on her porch as a kid.
All in all I’ve spent WAY more than $40 at other restaurants for dinner for 2 that wasn’t nearly as pleasant, and we will definitely be back when it warms up to try the patio.
My personal favorite, the Lemon Chicken with baked potatoes and a side of sweet potato fries.
Recommend calling ahead to reserve seating, especially on busy afternoons and weekends!
