We usually come to this location about twice a month. Today I stopped by for lunch. Service was quick. I went right when they opened so some of the food was still being grilled but they did have food out already. The salad bar here has a huge selection of toppings and variety. Management here is good and the manager comes by often to see how everything is. They only have breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. Prices are fair for the selection that they offer. Overall this is a great location to stop by.

Today’s experience lacked the value of the cost we were charged to eat here. The restaurant today needed cleaning and seemed like no one was managing the place. For being a1230pm on a Friday we found the food to be subpar and it was like nobody was watching it. Hot food with film on top which appeared like the dishes could have been stirred. Corn that was with peppers not being tended to that were already dead. You can also see that there is a lot of deferred maintenance, paint needed, cleaning needed, seats ripped and torn. The whole time I thought who is managing this restaurant. I won’t come back if it’s gonna remain like this. Almost like a hotel having bed bugs, that’s what my experience felt like today. Kinda ruined my appetite. Please fix this place it can be so much better and deserves some serious attention. Wow. Embarrassing.

Best part was our waitress. She was on spot with friendliness and making sure she checked on us for refills. Cleaned up along the way. The food well its a buffet some things ok some things old some things way over fried in old grease n some things were good. Enjoyed the fry chicken n pot roast. Livers n hush puppies hard as rock n way over fried. And fish n shrimp were not best quality.

For 23$ per person it is the most restricted assortment with the tiniest steaks of more than 40 Golden Corrals I’ve visited all over America.

Lacy is always one of the best servers there. Her service is always quick , correct, and with a smile. We have been going there for a couple of years and it is good to see the same people. That let’s me know that they like to work there and this makes for a great family atmosphere. I hope that Lacy is acknowledged for her excellent work ethic and dedication to this company.

The food is great for the price! Decent selection of American (particularly Southern) dishes, some Latin American inspired dishes, and unlimited soft drinks, iced tea, lemonade, and similar drinks (if you buy a drink). Good dessert bar with pretty good offerings, including soft serve. (Disclaimer: we had a weekday dinner, so may be different for lunch/weekend dinner).
Pretty good quality of food overall, though they have some trouble cooking steaks “right,” meaning rare to medium rare for everyone in my family. Most steaks are overcooked when you go to the grill and if you ask for rare, you’re more likely to get medium-well done. If they are all overcooked you can usually ask them to put one on for you and wait about 5-6 minutes.
I lucked out once and they had just put fresh steaks on a few minutes prior. The grill chef then told me it would take another 8 minutes for them to be ready! I said “Not for me! I want rare steak.” He then asked if what was on the grill was cooked enough for me. I said yes and got a lovely rare steak.
Service is pretty good. They were friendly and great at serving up fresh food to the buffet line and clearing plates. Our server this time wasn’t so great at refilling our drinks (usually they do this fairly regularly here – we’ve been here twice – and at other Golden Corrals). He never asked once, so I went and got our refills myself. He was pretty busy in his section, so I didn’t hold it against him too much, but I heard him asking other people if they wanted refills on drinks so I’m not sure why he never asked us.
The place was kept pretty clean given all the people crowded in, kids (maybe adults too…) dropping food on the floor, and that this was the end of the night. Bathrooms were also clean and well stocked.
Basically, it’s a good value and good representation of a Golden Corral Buffet. The line out the door of people waiting to get in for dinner is a good indication this is a good place to go for dinner.

As I have got older, I don’t attend buffets like I use to. This is my first time at Golden Corral in years, and I want to say tonight was a bit of a disappointment. They only had one server, and all she did for me was remove my dirty plates off my table.
She never bothered to ask to refill my drinks not even once. Whenever I needed to get refills, I had to get it myself. Just for removing my plates alone, she got lucky she got tipped at all. And the men’s bathroom was dirty. Do they not have people not check every hour?
The food was mid at best, as what they’re known for. That server along with the restaurant needs to get their act together! If I come back again, I hope for a better experience next time. The service was fine in general, except for that one server was she wasn’t even attentive or asked if I needed refills. Do better!
