Totally forgot to photograph before we ate.
Exactly what we were looking for, a quaint little town diner. Good service and nice people, very attentive. I had the 2 egg breakfast scrambled with home fries, 2 biscuits and 3 strips of bacon. Biscuits were the best I’ve had, not dry and a good buttery taste. Bacon crispy but not rock hard. Eggs were smooth and delicious. Home fries are not my favorite anywhere, I prefer shredded hash browns, but these had descent flavor. I would have asked maybe for extra crispy personally.
Hubby had The favorites breakfast with 2 sunny side up eggs, two sausage links, 2 bacon strips and 3 french toast triangles. The sausage links had great flavor and texture. The french toast was great. He enjoyed the whole breakfast and gobbled it up quickly.

This place is great for breakfast. A lot of people come here. The food was very good and well portioned.The atmosphere was pleasant and had a nautical theme to it, so there were lots of model ships and stuff around the room. The servers were very pleasant and attentive.

Love, love , love the homey vibes of this place, very quaint with nautical theme. Service was top notch, I forgot the servers name, she has pink hair, and is the coolest, warmest, nicest person, I truly felt welcomed and taken care of. We got pick 5 topping omelette and bacon cheese burger, the food was really flavorful and satisfying. Please come and support this local gem.

I never ate here when I lived in town and I regret that I missed out on that. Now every time I come back for a visit, I always try to come and get the biscuits and gravy and a hot cup of tea. Maybe the pancakes if I’m feeling it, because those are really good too. This is not some boujee place you go for the latest trends. It’s delicious, reliable diner food at a good price, served by kind and attentive staff. I heard people complaining about the neighborhood when they came in around Thanksgiving, and they seemed like out of town travelers visiting family. If you’re new or just visiting, the neighborhood around the restaurant is fine, you’re not at anymore risk here than anywhere else you’d go in VA Beach (lived here on and off for 20 years, so I’m very familiar with the area). Please come and try this place. Hope to keep coming here for the next 20 years to make up for not coming the previous 20.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted, with a smile, the staff was very friendly and attentive. We ordered our drinks and those were delivered almost immediately. They gave us a few moments to look over the menu and once we placed our order our food was to our table within about 8 to 10 minutes. Absolutely outstanding. Will definitely be back.
