But I had a bad experience today. I put in some tip ($ amount), and the touchpad told me it should be percentage points instead of $ amount. I felt strange, but I followed the instructions to put 15%. The waitress then told me that I had to redo the tipping because the system took in dollar amount instead (ok, fine) and there’s a “15% minimum tip” which I never knew about. I’ve dined here several times, there was never any service but the food is great so I’ve always tipped without any complaints.
I think the waiting folks here need to be taught that
1. “tip” is called “tip” for a reason and if you want “minimum” you should tell your customer upfront (which I would have been happy with)
2. “tip” is for waiting services. If you never came to my table, ask yourself why do you deserve minimum 15%?
TLDR: This place really sucks.
☣️ 0. When we entered and seated, a guy who handed over us menus had flu. And he sneezed on the counter.
1. The food is not authentic at all. Don’t order anything that is fried, they use poor quality oil.
2. The staff is horrible. When you enter there is a sauce station, I wanted to get the sauce the old lady refused because it only comes with Shabu Shabu. She did not let me soy sauce for the noodles.
3. Being denied from having sauce, I refused to pay the tip. The same flu guy (to identify he is slim, short and unattractive guy with glasses) demanded me the tip. I asked him that the lady did not even given me the sauce, that’s I don’t want to pay the tip I still did not pay. Then he threw the receipt in the air in rage instead of handing me. I waited there and demanded my receipt the other staff comes and got the receipt.
4. If you are Asian please avoid this disappointment. For other,s please don’t ruin your dining experience.
5. I am afraid to get food poisoning because of this unhygienic food.
I pay tip all the time no matter the quality of food. I just pay because most places I have been they show respect towards customers not upright rude.

I’ve never written a review before, but this experience was so upsetting that I have to share it.
The food looked and tasted like it had been sitting out for a long time. I chose udon instead of rice, but the noodles were completely stuck together and hard like a rock. I could understand if they were a little overcooked, but this was far beyond that. I also ordered fried dumplings, and they came out in less than a minute — which made me wonder if they were even freshly cooked.
The sauce station didn’t look clean, and there were fruit flies flying around the table area. Still, I tried to stay calm and just finish the meal. When I asked for the bill, it was about $60. I left a $5 tip because the food quality was terrible, even though the service itself wasn’t rude.
But then the waitress came over and questioned me about why I left only $5. I was shocked.
Tipping is my personal choice, and after paying for such poor food, being confronted like that was really upsetting.
This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had — not just because of the food, but because of the disrespect I felt. I hope this review helps others avoid the same experience, and that the restaurant takes these issues seriously.
I stated I didn’t want to tip and the server was persistent on a tip. After 4-5 times about asking for a tip and showing me how much I should tip. I gave in and just said i’ll leave a cash tip. I gave a cash tip and left. Wouldn’t go back there again..
