The worker Tammie Lecoche is rude as hell I sent my son cause I have epilepsy I cannot drive; temporary disabled so I’m on low income to none basically. Anyways he’s a young well educated speaking black kid there Tammie kept acting like she did not recognize the order until he called me. Saying he was mispronouncing it my name is Jasmine, Jazz for short. I do not think that would be hard to pronounce. Nice try Tammie. Anyways Tammie did not give the items that were supposed to be redeemed. Even though we spent the $50 plus other orders before so I had over 1200 in points, but as soon as he came home told me and I called to speak to management Emily Rosedale. Tammie said Emily wasn’t available but when I took their first & last names down and hung up cause she was continuing to be rude asking me if I needed help spelling it & could not give me a return call time. Emily called me right back. When she did she tried to explain how it did not work and Tammie was not rude. I told her I understand so should I come down and refund everything and have you re-ring it to redeem it. She said no it was okay to come have my son drive back and she would give him the items. Times are hard, holidays coming up; no one has time to be playing games with gas to drive back and forth, (plus I have seizures so I cannot drive, or work full time) buying food out and it not being good especially from shitty attitudes from funny acting people, the food is hit or miss depending on the cook. Save your coins and go to Four Rivers! At least the food and customer service will be consistent! Before Emily and Tammie come here saying there quotes about how you did redeem the bread muffins that was it simply bread muffins Guys. Save it cause I’ll upload more pictures and find out who the merchant owner is and show more proof of my disability and account. I do not believe they would like to see how management is making handicap people drive instead of just gifting a coupon for next time or redeeming it to begging with the first time my son was there. Tammie work nicer and smarter not harder and Emily look for better customer service workers and ways to be within yourself. Thank you ladies!

We recently ordered enough BBQ and sides to feed 100 people. We want to say a special thank you to all the staff, especially Emily, for putting it together. The food was delicious and they enjoyed it. We were able to get everyone fed, and we baptized 2 people. It was a very successful event, and we owe a lot of that to Sonny’s BBQ in Bartow. thank you again from Christian Churches of Polk County. CCPC

Lots of food for the cost. It’s pretty good. Lots of butter and definitely not low calorie.
My girls got the kids macaroni and cheese with a sweet potato for one and green beans for the other. It comes with a giant piece of bread and a drink. They didn’t get their juice that was supposed to come with their meal (they wanted milk but I guess they ran out because the server said they didn’t have milk) but I didn’t complain since I don’t let them have much juice anyway.
I got a grilled cheese and my husband got the ‘Big Deal’ which is a sandwich with some fries. He always gets garlic bread with his sandwich and loves it. They have 4 kinds of barbecue sauce on the table – smoking, sweet, spicy and original. My husband uses sweet and spicy together.
We also tried some fried okra (we had a big party of 13 of us) that someone else had ordered.
The food took a while but there were a bunch of people who came in before us while we were waiting for the rest of our party to get there. (They don’t sit your big party till almost everyone is there.)
I am not a big fan of barbecue myself but my husband loves this place and my kids liked the macaroni and cheese (they didn’t like the green beans at all so they didn’t get eaten and we didn’t take them home.

It’s so not fair to be getting emails from Sonny’s offering free banana pudding for one day only when our location is closed due to a fire! Talk about cruel and unusual punishment! This just isn’t right because I’d be there!

I sat at the bar and got the all-u-can-eat ribs and sides. Ribs where excellent cooked just right , had the dry rub ribs , green beans , bbq beans and garlic bread. My Server Ryan L. was very nice and she made sure everything was well with my food and got my reorders in a very timely manner. Definitely 5 star customer service.

This place is horrible. We ate there 6:45 pm december 31 2025. Waitress was great.Food was cold. The sliced pork was cold to the touch they took it and brought a new plate that was better but not hott, had 1 last sliced pork brought out all you can eat, it was Cold and the broccoli was cold and no taste at all so we complained and was discounted $3.86 this place is horrible i do not recommend anyone to go there. I wont be back

Gave it all 1 star simply because they decided after many years of having a great menu to take it upon themselves to trim down the menu by eliminating old favorites like the pork 3 way. Why would you change something that has worked for so many years? Completely unforgivable. I will never visit a Sonnys ever again until the menus are back the way the were.

We visited this evening and were seated with a server named Joy. She was handling two large tables along with several smaller ones, so at first I was worried about the service. But Joy absolutely delivered! She was attentive, quick, and anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. On top of that, she brought such a fun and cheerful personality to the table. Truly outstanding service—10/10!
