Fun experience and lots of good food. Our chef was entertaining and cooked well, I requested my salmon medium rare and it was so and very good. He gave me some teriyaki sauce, yum! The shrimp as appetizer were tasty. The lomain with veggies was delicious! Even the fried rice was good. The service was good also. There was no music and since we were two we sat with strangers but we could converse easily. Too loud for more than 4 people in those tables. But if you are more than 10 you can reserve a room

From calling to make reservations and arrival, everything went smoothly. Arrived at 5:30pm and were immediately sat and orders were taken. Our cook was amazing. Of course did the Onion Volcano, and train. Such a fun experience as always. Hibachi was delicious as always. Ordered a Sushi Roll and it was FRESH! Very spacious layout with seating for 10 at each table. Our waitress was efficient and friendly. I will definitely be coming back.

Now, let’s talk sushi: the volcano roll was hands down the best sushi roll I’ve ever had in my life. And trust me, I’m a sushi connoisseur who’s tried rolls all across the US, but nothing compares to this masterpiece. The house salad was elevated by the perfect ginger dressing, and their green tea shot, topped with lemon-lime soda, was made to perfection. Every dish we ordered was crafted with such care and brought to us with top-notch professionalism. If you love amazing sushi paired with stellar service, Nakato is the place to be!

Food is alright. Flavor wise more like salty for me. But the grilled mussels is very good. I would love more with just mayo than spicy mayo. Tuna carpaccio also has spicy mayo on it. Made me a little sad because I like ponzu and sesame oil flavor. Anyway overall experience is good.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. Quality of food doesn’t look anything like the photos. Chicken is dry, shrimp is tiny in comparison and overcooked. If you’re placing a to go order you will get a table spoon of mushy rice. No seasoning AT ALL is used and the chicken served to me was raw. This is the worst hibachi I have ever had.

Wymer was such wonderful chef and we loved his company. The food was tasty and very delicious. I will definitely reserve a seat again with him on my next visit.
I know is a busy place but when we got there most tables were empty and we were waiting on the rest of our party of 10 and only 5 were present so 5 were missing, they gave us the table but made us order for them even though they weren’t sitting at the table. They were running a bit late so sometimes things like that happened and you can’t control things like that so they gave us the table and told us to order for them so we did. Again the restaurant wasn’t busy so they just didn’t want to wait till everyone was present to give us the table. I understand if you reserve a table for certain amount of people at certain hour all should be present on time but again the place wasn’t busy and many tables were empty it wasn’t like we were making others wait. But nevertheless the food was good and our chef was wonderful we all enjoyed the food.

So I normally never do reviews but I HAD to do one because I am literally sick and tired of people playing with peoples hard earned money and making a mockery out of the people that support their establishments. I visited Nakato yesterday with my family, it was myself, my spouse and our 3 children and we joined a birthday party of about 11 other people so it was definitely good money spent with this establishment. So anyway, I asked for my food to be cooked in the back instead of on the grill in front of everyone because the last time I caught visited this establishment I caught food poisoning (another story for another day) and honestly haven’t been back since but because it was my niece birthday and this was her choice I went along with it but I definitely should have stuck to my guns in this case! But anyway, It was totally fine, they brought it out and everything was going good until I asked for a to go box so as I’m pouring my rice into the box a piece of hair drops from the rice and it was a nice decent sized hair strand. I immediately pour the rice back in the bowl it was given to me in. I asked to speak with the manager and this lady has the audacity to tell me to show her the hair like I’m about to pick through these rice grains to prove I found a hair in my food. She then goes to say that I can’t offer you any type of discount unless I see the hair so I’m like well you can go look for it but I have no reason to lie about a hair being found in my plate when I brought a whole party of 5 like make it make sense! I went ahead and paid the bill but I would never ever never ever support this business again! Because how rude and disgusting of the manager to not for once even be apologetic but based her ability to correct an issue off me finding the issue and then have the nerve to be nasty about it like she had an attitude about hair being in MY food but I will never give another red cent to a business that doesn’t care about me.

Jandel was our sever and he was great! He took care of everything and was very attentive. The food was delicious and the experience was quite fun for us. The kids had a great time.
