Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

12/23/25 (10ish pm) – Clean restaurant and restrooms. Service was fairly quick, and Atheina at the register was friendly and attentive. She kindly offered my mom fresh coffee, which was appreciated—especially given how cold it was inside.
Unfortunately, the dining experience was uncomfortable because the lobby temperature felt around 60 degrees. Our hot food became cold very quickly (burger and fries), making it difficult to eat comfortably. While I understand keeping the restaurant cool during hot summer days, it felt excessive at night when the outside temperature was already around 55 degrees.
Mr. Gustavo Flores, I hope you’ll consider adjusting the indoor temperature during cooler evenings so guests can enjoy their meals comfortably. The Apple pies were delicious because they stood warm in the box.

Forgot to post the .75 cent burger day at Whataburger. I’m not a big fan of burgers but I managed to finish this one. Maybe, it tasted so good, cause I managed to get it free with the app. It seemed like it would be chaotic but it was actually handled smoothly, with the exception of mine that for a half hour I was told it was coming up and it wasn’t. But in the end it was worth the trip.

I understand that these are kids and they make mistakes. But in order to run a business the manager is in charge to keep the business running like a tight ship. So if I pay for food I expect to see it when I get home. But no it wasn’t. So I went back and got my fries. They were polite and courteous I have no problem until I got home and then they marked the burgers wrong. So my family got the wrong burgers. I wasn’t going to go back a third time. Been asking for the GM since Sunday and they just ignored me and it’s Wednesday. Didn’t want to cause a stink, but being dismissed, ignored really sucks so now they loose another star. Not to take it out on the workers cause they are great, food is good the problem is management. Gustavo Flores is the GM. He doesn’t care.

Worst experience ever. Bought the pancake plate for my daughter and they came with a freaking bug on it. I was so upset because she really wanted pancakes and she took a couple of bites before we even noticed that the bug was on there. I highly recommend people stay away from this location. I will also be contacting the corporate offices in regards to this matter. I went back and thankfully they gave me the money back for my whole order but all they could do is look at me and tell me that they were sorry.

Ordered a double cheese with bacon and jalapenos with extra pickles. Ended up with no jalapenos and they charge you for the bacon which specifically says 3 strips of bacon and they only gave me 2. I only found it i was given 2 stips when I tore apart my burger to find out the jalapenos I had paid for weren’t in my burger and the extra pickles I asked for weren’t even added. I know it sounds dumb to be complaining about bacon but if I paid for it I should get it. When I arrived originally i looked in my bag and noticed the fries looked like they it was a kids meal worth of fries its super disappointing. I did in fact address it to the young lady who brought me my order and she was super upset threw away the fries and brought me out another order this time with the appropriate amount of fries. When I found out I called the store and spoke to Lisa, she seemed a bit annoyed but said he would take care of it. She in fact did take care of it on a later day.

Let me tell you I come here a lot for my lunchtimes.And the ladies they take you ordered in the drive through are always the sweetest super nice good attitude and even when you don’t think they’re having a good day or a good attitude.They surprise you, they’re super nice.They give you compliments, they always say to have a great day.They know what they’re doing, and the food’s always good.I never have any complaints

Ok so we make a order inside to go I’m glad I decided to eat there with my daughter and son and they forgot a double whataburger and fries the manager didn’t believe us so she goes to the table thinking we were lying checked our food like if we were hiding it. So she ok no apoligy or nothing. They are becoming worse then mcdonald’s forgetting to check order
