The food was decent and better than I anticipated, but the service was disappointing. I didn’t try the pizza, so I can’t comment on that. The food could have used some garnish to make it more presentable. The dining area was loud and busy with constant takeout traffic, making it a poor choice for a quiet dinner.

Best Pizza in Town – A New Family Favorite!
We tried this new pizza place and absolutely loved it! The pizza is incredibly delicious — even my three kids ate every bite and said it’s tastier than the other places we used to go. We’ll definitely be coming back again and again!
On top of that, the price is unbeatable: only $12 for three huge slices. Such amazing quality at such a great value — highly recommend!

Absolutely love this place. I was a big fan of Coppolas but I am an even bigger fan of this place now and they deliver. The menu is huge and everything we have ordered has been spot on. Prices are very fair and service is extremely friendly. Highly recommend this place!

First try. There was a mixup with our takeout order. But the hospitality service to correct it and make up for it was above and beyond. Second try ordered delivery. Everything was smooth from the app to the dates to the delivery. And personable. I’m not in town. But will be a frequent customer given the excellent treatment so far. The pizzas second time around that I pictured here. Plain and southern buffalo chicken, were excellent.

Came here to dine in and had a delicious dinner! The crunch of the crust was perfection on the Bella Grandma Pie.

This is my first time eating at the brand new Celestino’s location in New Providence, and I have put together an honest review. We ordered online and immediately marveled at the vast menu and remarkable customization options. You can very easily specify toppings on your pizza, crust style (regular vs thin), amount of slices, the whole shebang. The website was lacking some pictures and instead boasted many filler images which would be helpful to see. We ordered the 14″ plain pizza half pepperoni cooked well done, caesar salad, pasta Celestino, garlic bread, and cheesesteak egg rolls. To preface, Coppola’s was highly esteemed in New Providence, so expectations were high as there is no doubt they are a tough act to follow. The pizza (pretty actually small for a small size) looked delicious. As for doneness, it could have been crispier for well done. The crust was still pale and a little floppy. However, the taste absolutely met expectations. The light sauce, ever so slightly spicy pepperoni, and golden melted cheese brought me right back to Coppola’s. I definitely see myself routinely getting my takeout pizza from here. So far, of all of the pizza options in New Providence, this one is the closest to Coppola’s. The caesar salad looked very promising. While it did taste above average, my family noticed that there was far too much dressing. The pasta Celestino looked superb. According to the menu, it is a rigatoni dish with vodka and bolognese sauce. The meat sauce was very good but overpowered any vodka sauce flavor. Cheesesteak egg rolls were, according to my family, “crispy spring rolls. Very crispy and crunchy. I like that. I think it was the perfect balance of cheese and meat, and I’ve eaten a lot of cheesesteaks” Tender, but a little chewy. The garlic bread was most certainly flavorful but the bread was just not toasted enough. Very heavily buttered, and therefore quite soggy. Crispier pieces really shed light on the strong garlic flavor, but others were a little too soft for our liking. It is to be noted, transparently, that garlic bread may be a tough item for take out. In summary, we came in to this most excited for the pizza. From what I have experienced, even with the most basic of all pizzas–plain and pepperoni–there is much promise! The neighborhood pizza seems to be back. I am excited to try more on the menu, including the thin crust options, and countless chicken and pasta dishes. Definitely give the new people in town a try! There seems to be something for everyone, and I’m confident that you will find a favorite.
P.S. for day one, they seem to have their efficiency under control. However, it wasn’t the most inviting of atmospheres yet. It most certainly lent itself to take out, but I’m sure more decor and hopefully a menu on the wall will be added soon.

I order every weekend. Today I ordered penne alfredo pasta without broccoli. They sent it with broccoli, I called to ask for a refund, and they sent me more food. I don’t want more food, I want my money back. And by the way, the cannoli I ordered arrived in very bad condition.

Having gone to Coppola’s for years, I was sad that they closed but I was hoping for great things with this new place and after reading the reviews, I decided to try it. Walking in, I noticed the cozy ambience of Coppola’s was gone and turned into a bright space that did not feel very inviting. I got a plain large pizza to go and it was ready in about 10-15 mins after I placed the order which is very reasonable. I was excited to try it but was quickly met with some disappointment. The dough was thick, dense and flavorless and the pizza itself was overpowered by the amount of sauce. Sad to say it but Coppola’s- you left some big shoes to fill.

Ordered 3 times now food has been consistently good for the most part, Sicilian was better the first time I ordered it the second time was too tomatoey. Ceaser chicken salad pizza has been great both times! Rice ball was too garlicky but the eggplant rollintini was amazing! The chicken parm pizza was also amazing and the white pie with half steak and half ham was delicious! Was sooo happy to see a familiar face of Victor from previous place but the young teenage boy at the register had a sarcastic way about him and was rude! Plan on returning and also telling others to give this place a try!
