Reviews
The food was incredible. The Fresh Flavours of the Atlas selection was bursting with flavour and beautifully balanced. For mains, the fish was perfectly cooked and so well seasoned, and the chicken was incredibly tender. I honestly don’t think I’ve tasted flavours like this before.
Dessert was the ice cream with local flavours (we had strawberry and lemon) and it was the perfect ending.
Genuinely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. I don’t know how this can be topped.
Oh and the ambiance was incredible with the live chilled music – so so so good!
Absolutely 5 stars.
The food is consistently excellent! authentic Moroccan cuisine with a modern, refined touch that really highlights the chef’s talent. Everything is delicious, and the ice cream at the end is always the cherry on top.
The atmosphere is elegant, relaxing, and soothing. It feels deeply Moroccan yet contemporary, like being at home while also traveling somewhere special. The music and setting add to that calm, refined experience.
A special thank you to Nabil, who has always taken great care of us over the year. Always attentive, warm, and genuinely kind.
A beautiful place with incredible food and a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommended.
If you enjoy eating expensive architecture while your taste buds take a nap, welcome to Dar Moha. We paid 240€ for 3 people, and honestly, the most seasoned thing in the entire restaurant was the bill.
The “Highlights”:
* Instagram vs. Reality: This place is a masterpiece of deception. It’s gorgeous, the pool is stunning, and the tiles are perfect for photos. But newsflash: you can’t eat tiles. Once you put your phone down and actually taste the food, the magic evaporates faster than water in the Sahara.
* The Food (A culinary tragedy): I’ve had hospital food with more personality. The pastillas were so dry they could be used as sandpaper, and the flavors were so bland I started questioning if I had developed a sudden case of anosmia. It’s “Moroccan food” for people who find black pepper “too spicy.”
* The Crowd: Finding a Moroccan person inside this place is like looking for a penguin in Marrakech—impossible. It’s 100% tourist bait. I felt less like a guest and more like a walking ATM being processed through a beautiful, overpriced factory.
* The Price Tag: 80€ per head? For that price, I expected the chef to personally serenade us while serving the best meal of our lives. Instead, we got a “fine dining” experience that was put to shame by a 5€ street stall in the Medina.
Verdict: 1 star for the decorators, 0 stars for the kitchen. If you want to burn 240€, just throw the cash into the pool—it’ll be more entertaining and less chewy than the food. A total scam.
To begin, the atmosphere is the first thing that captures you. The beautiful entrance leads you along a path to the main dining room, where carefully placed plants line the walls, illuminated by antique fanous lanterns. The true gem of the room is the serene pool, which gives the space a fresh and tranquil feel.
The food and service go hand in hand. The wonderfully designed dishes are placed neatly across the table like a canvas, almost feeling like pieces of art worthy of being devoured. Each dish offers a combination of sweet and savory flavors, perfectly blended into a harmonious creation. From the seemingly endless variety of appetisers, to the succulent chicken tagine dish that falls of the bone and is accompanied by hint of sweet flavour provided by the olives, and ending with a fresh blend of fruit ice cream
Additionally, the service elevates the entire experience. Waiters, like Nabil, provide professional yet calming support, enhancing your luxurious culinary journey. Following the kind service, your ears are blessed with traditional sounds of the sintir and oud playing joyful and dance-inducing tunes.
I would highly recommend Dar Moha to everyone I know! Special thanks to Nabil, the waiters, and the music crew!
We sat out in the pool area and were looked after by our super attentive waiter Nabil, nothing was too much trouble.
The lighting and live music (but still easy to have a conversation) made this a meal to remember for a very long time, thank you so much.
We cannot recommend the Dar Moha enough.
