Good place to grab take out. Mom and pop shop. I’ve been a few times. I wanted to see if the food or service would change but it stayed fairly consistent. I would recommend the chicken Ranchero pizza and the seafood calzone.

Best pizza in Pittsburgh, in my humble opinion. The service is always fantastic, and the pizza is second to none. It’s a little on the expensive side, but very well worth it. Worth a try if you’re in the Oakland/North Oakland area and want a very competent, traditional pizza. The other dishes are less enjoyable, though.

I moved to Pittsburgh about two years ago from New Jersey for my studies. I ended up living around the corner from this place for about a year before moving to Shadyside. This place has consistently had great food, and has always felt like a reliable choice for take out. My friends and I have gotten their pizza, gluten free pizza, cheesy bread, and their wings. We would recommend all of those food items 🙂

I ordered 2 gyros, the presentation was great, the ppl were extra nice, the gyros was not it was the kit meat, but it was a lot but just not that great, & they should give more sauce, with the amount of meat, then I ordered extra meat, not needed, there was enough on the pita bread! Really nice ppl though!

We love Little Nippers – it’s been our go-to pizza place for years. Outstanding people and service, and the pizza is always fresh and delicious. The wings can be really great too. Highly recommend this place, especially if you can order as take out and pick it up when it’s all fresh out of the oven (try ordering directly from the website or the Slice app). It’s awesome to have such a great pizza place in the neighborhood!

First time ordering gluten free pizza for delivery from anywhere. I was pleasantly surprised and they are obviously pretty good about cross contamination with wheat because I didn’t notice any reaction! Big brownie points there. They were very busy the night we ordered so the black olives I ordered on my pizza ended up being onions instead. I happen to like onions, so I ate it any way but I emailed the store to let them know about the mistake. The manager emailed me back within minutes to apologize and offered me a topping credit. Outstanding! The crust was delicious and the sauce (which I’m kind of picky about) was perfect. I had anchovies on the pizza as well; great anchovies, good size and not covered in giant bones like with other pizza places I’ve tried.
My husband had wings (boy did they smell good!) and he was very pleased; they were light on grease and he said they tasted great.
Over all, loving this place so far! Ordered again tonight.
