I absolutely loved this place! The food was delicious and well priced. I loved the Japanese feeling. Even the bathroom was very nice with a bidet and heated toilet seats. I’m raving to my friends about the food delivery. The free heated underground parking was awesome and in expected.

The food was fresh, hot, and came out quickly. Loved the variety, from sushi rolls to fried snacks and miso soup. Everything we tried was tasty and well-priced. We were in and out in about 40 minutes. Would definitely go again!

I love this place it’s very similar to what you might find in Tokyo as someone who has been to this type of restaurant in Japan. The food is also great the squid legs are definitely my favourite. Coffee mochi is for sure a great choice the deserts are all very good. Super nice and friendly staff the few times you do encounter them as all serving is done via bullet train.

Reluctantly I will do a wing review as I do every restaurant I go to just in case there’s an amazing wing I’m missing out on. Overall rating is 5/10 it’s alright the wing itself is cooked well but it’s just plain. However the hells chicken is comparable to a boneless wing just much bigger, I’d give that a 6.5/10 the hot level isn’t much higher than a franks red hot though it’s a good flavour the downfall is the chicken though it was still great just many better options.

Again I try to be as unbiased towards restaurants like this when reviewing them as obviously wings are probably the last thing on their mind as a Japanese restaurant. Because of that I truly believe this is one of my favourite Japanese restaurants in Calgary not only due to the novelty of the bullet train but also because of the food disregarding the wings.

It was a cool place to come to, we were celebrating a birthday.
Food was exactly as expected, priced fairly and we were all entertained by the train.

Only my second time while entertaining visitors. Both time lunches. Quality of food is great. You can replenish you tee with a hot water dispenser right on the table (ingenious) and carry on a conversation without ever needing to interact with any staff once you are seated.
Type in your order (max 4 at a time, train capacity limit). But you can keep ordering and keep the trains coming.
I regret not going more often. Experience might be different if busy or weekends and dinner time.
Happy experience from my party 2 times now

Positives:
Bullet train delivery was super cool and fast. Order from an iPad and comes to your table very quickly. Selection was good to keep those that don’t like sushi and vegans happy which we had both at our table.

Negatives:
Overpriced and small portions. The value wasn’t there compared to my other favourite sushi joints.

Overall: The bullet train concept was neat as a novelty and worth checking out. If you haven’t been it’s worth a visit. But wouldn’t be my “go to” sushi place.

This place is so fun! Our kids enjoy coming here because they love ordering from the iPad at the table and seeing the bullet train bringing the food. We have a great time every time we go!
The staff are wonderful, and the place is clean. Good food, and a fun experience

Very neat and fun concept! Sushi brought to your table by a little bullet train is something you can expect to see in Japan, and having it here in Calgary is a real treat! Besides, food is very reasonably priced and it usually arrives fast! Food is varied and quality is very consistent. The little chocolate tray when you pay also has a good selection of chocolates. Overall a nice casual sushi spot with a very unique concept that you rarely get the opportunity to see in North America.

A bit noisy and loud and seated between two other booths ‍ felt like a diner with more commercial appeal and while the bullet train concept is neat the delivery feels a bit tacky – it’s a plastic tray that looks worn. The food itself is alright but the menu is stuck in one place and is awkward to scroll through from the seats

Food takes a bit longer than expected and the waitress’s mannerisms was rushed not out of the place actually being busy (and even if it was you should still take proper care and time with the customer and provide a pleasant dining experience) but almost out of ego and wanting to appear like she wasn’t available or not to bother her with questions etc they seemed more sycophantic to white customers which unfortunately is so ingrained and conditioned into people and not based on merit just simple habitual patterns of society that it infiltrates every level of service.

Food is not too bad. Portions perfect for light meal (they were pretty much snack size), so be prepared to pay more for a filling meal (unless you have a small appetite). Train gimmick was interesting and what was on the menu is on the table for ordering, but also on the wall for easy viewing. Overall, decent restaurant if you are not looking for a large meal or are willing to shell out the extra buck.
