We visited Lime and Lemon recently and had a decent overall experience. The restaurant was clean, and the ambience was okay, making it a comfortable place to dine.
We ordered tandoori chicken, parotta, and mutton Chettinad. The parotta was really nice — soft, flaky, and well prepared, easily one of the better items we tried.
The tandoori chicken, while well cooked, was disappointing in terms of quantity. For the price we paid, the portion felt very small.
The mutton Chettinad was good overall, but the flavor felt a bit off compared to the authentic taste we expected. It wasn’t bad, just not as flavorful or well-balanced as it could be.
One area that clearly needs improvement is the service. The staff did not feel very friendly or welcoming, and the overall interaction could definitely be warmer and more attentive.
Overall, the food quality is decent, and the place is clean, but portion size, pricing, and service are areas where there is room for improvement. With some adjustments, this place has the potential to be much better. For now, I would give it a 4 star rating.

Lime & Lemon did a wonderful job catering our wedding. The food was absolutely delicious, somehow even better than at our tasting. A great price for Indian food catering. They can pretty much make anything you request. The staff was prompt and professional and even boxed up the leftover food at the end of the night. They replenished water at the tables and helped with the clean up at the end of the night. Would 100% book with them again.

We gathered for a birthday party the other night. I was reminded why I love this restaurant they have the best food and they serve you with love. The staff is very attentive to making sure everything is perfect and have great recommendations if you want to try something new whether it be a new drink or food. ❤️

The reception at front who leading us to the seat is great. He is the best service in the restaurant!!! He is very nice! But our table service person is not good. He didn’t ask us for drink, also he almost forgot us when we ask for check. He went directly to serve new table without notice us. We were waiting and waiting…The food is sooo good. Lime and Lemon is hands down my favorite Indian restaurant in the area! It’s always our go-to spot for special occasions because everything—from the food to the atmosphere to the service—is consistently wonderful. The restaurant itself is beautiful, the staff is attentive and kind, and the food is absolutely delicious every single time.
I came here for my birthday recently, and it made the day even more special. Fun side note—our server looked just like the famous cricketer Shikhar Dhawan! It gave us a good laugh and made the evening even more memorable.

It was my first time trying an Indian cuisine. I certainly was surprised on how delicious it is. I ordered a chicken combo, which had rice with chicken, a very delicious sauce with small pieces of chicken as well, and fried mild spicy chicken. All of these were certainly delicious. The bread, which I think is called ‘NAAN’, in combination with the chicken sauce tastes really good too. At the end, I received a delicious desert that was something like yogurt and mango. This was a gift from the restaurant because it was my first time at an Indian restaurant. 100% recommended! Add it to your must-go list!

lime and lemon is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in raleigh and kuber is the BEST server ever. every time i come to lime and lemon i hope i’m in his section. he always remembers us and knows our spice level and what we like. he creates a personal experience that makes me want to come back every time. he even brought out kulfi for my birthday!! can’t wait to eat at lime and lemon again!

We were traveling through and stopped in for dinner, what a wonderful stop! Started with their Bangalore Old Fashion, nice hint of coconut and coffee, a great spin on a classic cocktail! Dinner we ordered the Madras Chicken Curry and tandoori shrimp, along with the rosemary naan. All were delicious, highly recommend. The server provided excellent advice on spice levels and portion sizes. Service was on point, friendly, helpful and efficient. Loved that King Fisher beer was on tap too. Should we travel through Raleigh again, this is a must stop!
