Anytime I ever went to McDonald’s. I never saw a manager come out and make sure all of the customers was OK. She is very nice and I appreciate that. Ms Faye is a manager!!! That was very impressive

This McDonald use to be the best one to me,until recently. Went through the drive thru, my son wanted a medium milkshake no cream. They put the milkshake in a small cup. Im looking at shake like I order a medium and this is a small. I pulled around and went inside. Spoke with I guess a team lead light skin lady. I told her this is a small and I ordered a medium. Mind you it was just a week ago, I ordered the same meal and it came in a medium cup.She proceeded to tell that since it was no whip cream then it come in a small. Im paying for medium but get a small, like you robbing your customers. Then today I had 3 meals, each had a drink. The daily double comes with a small drink, the same team lead proceeded to say it was added to the other order that had a small drink. Well no if the daily double value meal comes with a drink I want my drink. I guess this McDonald’s want to spend your money how they want to and give you what they think you should have. Fix it.

It’s annoying how you have to place your order now at the kiosks yourself and there isn’t the option to pay cash. If I’m going to be ringing up my own order inside, shouldn’t the price be lower? Because what am I paying for then? Couldn’t get ketchup either for my hash brown so it was really dry.

McDonald’s has always been phenomenal with regard to food, price, atmosphere and service. The variety of food, clean and modern facilities, and reasonable prices make McDonald’s a great place to eat alone or bring your family. I highly recommend McDonald’s!

UPDATE: I abandoned this location a month ago and it’s been wonderful. Not only do I not have to beg, scrape and scrounge for condiments from the morning manager, but I don’t have to keep returning DQPs because they forget – or refuse – to put bacon on them, like 8 times in a row over a 3 week period. The store just South on US30 just East of Mississippi St. Merrillville is my new go to. It’s an extra 1.5 miles each way but worth it. They actually acknowledge you at the pick-up counter, they’re far and away friendlier, way better customer service vibes, not stingy with condiments or hide them, and the morning/day manager [female, Nicole or Nichole] is even known to hand me the food and ask me if I need anything.
I was taken back, frankly. My McD’s app will bear out that I am a very regular customer.
BRING YOUR OWN SALT & PEPPER: morning/early afternoon manager, white female frizzy hair pinned back, all black uniform, made me abandon breakfast there. They hide the salt and pepper and make you wait at the pick-up counter until she gets damn good and ready to acknowledge your existance.
The first time I ask for S&P she snaps one of each into my hand and before I can ask for more she is GONE. The pepper packs only have tiny amounts of pepper.
The next time I go in I asked for the S&P when I ordered, didn’t work either. She took the order and fled. When she tossed my sack of food on the counter, I asked once again for S&P, she once again bolted away. I waited another 30 seconds or so and I got tired of this crap so I reached behind the counter and got it myself. Of course, she DID notice me helping myself and she didn’t like that at all: “Sir, really!?” She claimed she said “I told I’d get it in just a sec!” No, you ignored me TWICE -once when I ordered and again when I got the food tossed on the counter.
Then a few days later I ordered 3 breakfast sandwiches and as I’m standing there waiting, I didn’t even see her to ask for S&P, all I see is her arm from around the corner drop the sack of food on the counter and once again she bolted, no way to ask for anything because an arm doesn’t have ears.
She doesn’t listen or respond to requests, or she runs off and makes you wait if she does hear and understand, anyway, so it doesn’t matter which body part I speak to.
She might be highly efficient because she scrambles like the kitchen’s on fire, but it’s damn irritating if they’re gonna hide condiments and then ignore you or make you beg and wait for them.
I never have this problem with anyone else there, and I’m there almost every damn day.

It’s become average. There is no significant nutritional value to anything they serve there. Besides it now costing you almost $50 to feed three people it’s ridiculous. I always wondered why there’s no new cemeteries but there’s always new burgers on the menu

They don’t listen to instructions , if you add anything extra…don’t bother. .. they won’t do it. Even if you paid for it. Also they will refuse to remake the order if they get it wrong from not following specific instructions…. they are also rude and lazy.

Food and service is not worth the money every couple of times I go there will be something missing and can’t even stack a sandwich or properly place the toppings last fish sandwich i got looked like a kindergarten class assembled it too bad because of my on demanding at a momentnts notice work schedule i have to depend on fast food to get a meal sometimes really dissatisfied with a lot of food places for quality and service for the price…..
