We are frequent visitors of this particular location. The atmosphere upon arrival is usual. I was expecting dim lit lights tinted Windows. But it’s not bad. I recommend the fried baby back ribs. They are to die for. I’m all about consistency and I have tasted changes but not bad changes. The meats are always consistent. It’s the sides. They have changed every visit. Another con would be the outages. Strawberry cornbread, mac, greens. These items always run out which sucks. We take a nice drive for this food. I was hoping for homemade tea buy it was not. Overall great food nice people. Peaceful atmosphere.

I got the baked Turkey wings, with their yamaroni and collard greens w/strawberry cornbread an ablazing sauce! Everything was good well seasoned, the yams were a lil burnt! Overall great! will be back to try the yams again!

aBlazing Grace was absolutely Delicious! The staff was very nice and patient with our crabby, loud toddler. We stopped there on a whim en route on a road trip. They were sold out of a lot- which tells us it’s super yummy & genuinely local. There was a bit of a wait, but it was so worth it. I got the fried chicken wings with green beans, fries & a roll. My husband got the fried ribs with green beans, yellow rice & a roll – they were sold out of cornbread (sad face.) The chicken was fried to perfection and the green beans were so tasty that my two year old actually ATE them!!! Their home made blazin sauce was also a very complimentary flavor for the entire meal. Next time we drive through, we will definitely be stopping to eat there again.

Five stars and I wish we could give more. It is a shame that we do not come this way very often. Pork chops were the best I have ever had. The strawberry cornbread was phenomenal. If I could buy a whole pan of it I would. Sides were very good as was the baked chicken wings which were succulent. If you want the best comfort food then you have to come here!! Service was very good – very friendly and welcoming.

I absolutely love this place. The ribs, strawberry corn bread, yams, and turkey wings are AMAZING. Best soul food I’ve had since moving from PA to DE.

Really good food. I had the baked chicken leg and it was perfectly spiced and cooked just right. Green beans had a great flavor too.
Quick service! Staff wasn’t overly friendly but they were efficient so it’s a fair trade.
There are no menus, which is actually environmentally progressive so not an issue for me!

Top tier soul food! Absolutely love this place. My favorite is the Turkey Wings, they literally fall off of the bone! And the yams are to die for! Be sure to call ahead because they sell out of Turkey wings fast! Very proud to see a black owned business thriving in lower Kent county. Please keep in mind that this is home cooked food, soul food prepared with love….not fast food. If you order and experience a little bit of a wait, be patient. The wait is very well worth it!!

Wow, this place is a hidden gem. The food is phenomenal, with generous helpings and delicious chicken wings. My husband was raving about his pork chops and strawberry cornbread. I initially ordered the BBQ beef meatballs, but it was still 30 mins out to being ready, which is why I ordered wings instead, BUT they brought out 4 meatballs for me just the same! So sweet! (Thank you! DELICIOUS!) I should have hollowed out my leg for this. I don’t live around here, but I may try and make my way back, just the same.

Had the Fried chicken, mac & cheese, and collard greens. Hands down best food I’ve had in a LONG time. Everything tastes handmade, the breading on the chicken was delicious, the mac and cheese was oven baked with that bit of crispy cheese on top, and the collard greens were the best I’ve had from anywhere. Staff was super friendly too. On my next trip down to Milford I will be returning here to get a bite to eat.
