Hot n sour soup was SPICY but good! Lo mein was ok but lack luster, mixed the lo mein with the soup, it was great! Garlic chicken was ok but not great. All food was served very hot!
NOT IMPRESSED with the plastic ware or the foam plates! Forced to buy water because the soup was too spicy. Probably will not return.

Ordered sweet and sour chicken… got the worst chicken nuggets with a side of sweet and sour sauce. Food has no flavor. Save yourself the money and make your own food at home.

This was my second time at Rainbow Garden the first time I had the Mei Fun. It had absolutely no taste. Went back weeks later, tried the shrimp fried rice and fried wings. It also had no flavor. The chicken was dry, had zero seasoning and a questionable smell. The rice had zero seasoning and the shrimp was questionable. I’m not sure if their cooking to make the taste more palatable for the area. This is definitely an Americanized Chinese restaurant. At the very least please use salt and pepper. I will not be returning.

We’ve been recommended this place numerous times by friends and family and finally decided to give it a shot. Well, that was a mistake to say the least. We walked in the door and was immediately greeted by the smell of old dirty mop water. At that moment, we should have just left, but against my better judgment we decided to give it a fair shot. This would also be a mistake. My wife and I ordered our food which consisted of Beef with Broccoli and and Egg roll and also General Tsos chicken with egg drop soup. Both plates were served with pork fried rice. They did not have any fountain drinks, only bottled 16 oz sodas. We went to go to a table and multiple chairs were wobbly and also mismatched. There was also a computer desktop in the lobby for some weird reason. My wife went to the bathroom and she said it smelled like paint but it was clean nonetheless. There was also multiple packages of restaurant supplies sitting in the dining area. So we waited for our food for roughly 15 minutes before we got served our appetizers which was the egg roll and egg drop soup. The egg roll was huge and was served on a tiny paper plate. It has a weird dirty oil-like aftertaste and the egg roll was pretty much only cabbage with a tiny amount of a unidentifiable mystery meat. The egg drop soup was just ok, it was very watery for my liking. The crispy noodles that were served with it tasted like stale saltine crackers. They didn’t look like traditional crispy noodles that would come with egg drop soup. They were more like thin cracker sticks. Then the entrees came out, my wife got hers first and then I got mine about 5 minutes later. The beef and broccoli smelled delicious and I thought the sauce was going to be sweet based on the smell but after taking a bite I noticed it wasn’t sweet at all and it was extremely salty. The “pork” fried rice was very bland, definitely not fried, with barely any pork at all. The general tsos chicken had that same dirty oil taste that the egg roll did. Also the sauce wasn’t spicy at all, not what I expect from a general tso sauce. The chicken was very tough, overcooked, and stringy. I barely made a dent in my plate which says a lot since I am known to be a heavy eater. My wife also did not finish her egg roll which really speaks volumes because she loves egg rolls. I don’t think I would ever return to this place. I honestly would have been better off ordering from the Ingles Deli Asian bar. The best thing about the meal was the soda.

The place is not fancy, but the food is delicious! We always get Chinese takeout from this Rainbow Garden. The wait time can be long, but the food is always wonderful.

I absolutely love this little family owned Chinese restaurant. All of the reviews about the food being bad are totally inaccurate. This place is amazing and is a great bang for your buck! Please visit this restaurant next to Food Lion in Seneca, SC.

Never had any issues. The food is always great and cooked in an appropriate amount of time. We love the bourbon and sesame chicken. Shrimp egg rolls and shrimp fried rice. Prices are not over priced.

I read the reviews and I think I understand the comments about tastes old. It is the texture. The flavor is good but I think that the chicken was a little over cooked. I watched them make it and it was with fresh ingredients. I asked the lady behind the counter what she liked and her recommendation was. She suggested General Tao chicken. The flavor was actually pretty good. I liked the sauce. The rice was just OK but the real winder is their egg rolls. I grew up on homemade Chinese food. It is not the worst food but I’ve had some of the best in the world. Just a little less overcooking (wok too hot?) but really not bad.
