Looove this place!!
I came here for the first time a couple of weeks ago for my birthday and absolutely loved it! First off, they have a 1954 Nash Metropolitan and a 1956 Studebaker M-Series truck right out front such a cool touch
My gelatos were amazing, and the staff was friendly, helpful, and really knowledgeable about all the flavors and specials.
Loved everything about this place — I’ll definitely keep coming back!

Stopped by Larry’s Ice Cream & Gelato in St. Pete Beach and really liked it. They have a ton of flavors, and the gelato was super creamy and fresh. The staff was friendly and didn’t rush us while we picked what we wanted. Nice spot to cool off and enjoy a treat definitely worth a visit if you’re around the beach.

Lots of flavours and nice little ice cream stop. Fairly pricey. Sugar free mint had a weird gritty taste but the raspberry and coffee and homemade waffle cones were delicious.

You absolutely must visit Larry’s Ice Cream & Gelato on St. Pete Beach—it’s less an ice cream parlor and more a dessert wonderland that ate a carnival and then took up residence on the coast. Forget the basic scoop; this place is a multi-generational, sugar-fueled legend.

When I opened my takeout food it was barely eatable. Jumbo hot dog and small bag of lays came completely drenched in brown mustard (even on the bag)! Pretzel was chewy like it was microwaved and coated in regular table salt with just a few specks of kosher salt. $60 for the total order including the above hot dog, pretzel, a tasteless burger, a hard cold brownie w a one scoop side of ice cream w/ fudge (that needed to be heated up at home) and a milkshake. Terrible food at an obscenely overpriced cost!!! I’ll never recommend that place to anyone and I will never go there again.

Be prepared to wait during peak times.
We waited almost 30 min…….
No inside seating.
Outside area has a few tables and bench.
Ice cream quality is good but a little pricey.
$20 for a quart of ice cream?
$27 for a quart of Gelato? Ouch.

For the price, I wouldn’t recommend. First of all, the customer service was so dreadful it ruined our experience. It was not a busy day. The girl who took our orders seemed upset we even dared step into the shop. She did not smile once the entire time and looked so dreadful we both felt awkward asking anything. The ice cream itself was also not worth the price tag or the experience. I got a milkshake which was so thin it felt like i was just drinking ice cream flavored milk for $10. My friend ordered a small waffle cone (photo attached) which came out to about $10 because sprinkles cost an extra $1.50 yet they don’t even put any in the bottom of the cone.
The regular ice cream tastes nice, but when you are paying that much money for ice cream you’re also paying for the experience. My first job was in an ice cream shop similar to this one, I know it’s not difficult to at the very least smile or be polite to your paying customers.

Ummmm YUM! Everything so amazing! I had a milkshake the second night and my husband had the root beer float, first night we both got two scoops of ice cream. Will definitely be back!

They have so many selections of sugar-free ice cream. And they have so many selections of flavors and gelatos and donuts and rice cakes and pretzel dogs. First time we’ve ever been there and we’ve been out here for years. They are a great company and wonderful ice cream.!
