Aji Peru

Ají Perú is a family-owned restaurant built on tradition, hard work, and love. Our passion for Peruvian cuisine has been passed down through generations — from our grandmother, Itala Ramó, and our mother Itala Uribe. We’ve been in the restaurant world since we were very young, always inspired by their dedication. Every dish we serve carries the care, heart, and heritage of our family.

Small restaurant with a family-owned vibe. I loved the Chicha (purple corn drink.) It reminded me of Hibiscus juice or Sorrel. I couldn’t stop eating the Cancha (delicious toasted corn) on the table. I had the chix empanada and tamal, which were good. My friend had the Cow Heart (tastes like liver). Some items were a bit salty for my taste. The prices were a bit high.

Aji Peru restaurant 1224 sw Gatlin Blvd Port St Lucie Florida/ cafe is clean, cute little bistro that opened couple years ago. The chicharran (fried fish) rice, fried yucca in delicate gcreme sauce was wonderful to the palette, also serve’s delicious soup ,fresh blended strawberry frozen juice , and mango juice, refreshing to the senses. If your in the area you won’t be disappointed. Authentic Peruvian food in the port st lucie area.

It was our first time at this new restaurant. The owner mentioned there is another one in Miami they have been running for some time. The food is absolutely amazing. We had the linguini al pesto and the beef saltado and both were fantastic. We were also treated to a taste of the passionfruit pudding that is absolutely worth trying and we will be getting on our next visit. Can’t wait to come back again!

Came in for lunch with my better half.. The place is new and clean. Very nice design, Karen and Luis were very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Chicken soup reminded me of my mom’s soup growing up, the ceveche was fresh, very tasteful and plenty of fish.
And the main course were also amazing. Great place for good food and not a chain restaurant.. Great home cooked food. We will be back.. Thank you

Very nice peruvian food experience!!! Nice ambiance. Good vibes. The food was excellent. What was outstanding was the customer service. The owners were the children of an energetic and welcoming couple who were visiting and helping that day. Amazing experience overall.
Individual dish pricing was at regular levels/standards. They offer a daily menu that was very affordable considering the choices and quality of the food served.
Highly recommended!!! We will be back for sure.

Changing my previous review because after they started getting more good reviews, they started slacking on their service and food more and more.
Today Sunday, I called them at 10:25 am, to ask for breakfast, they said they still serving until Noon. 10:41 am I got there, after I seat down, and requested breakfast menu, they said is that’s they don’t have breakfast, they give their regular menu and told me order from there, I am not going out to eat something that they want to serve me, if I go out is to eat something that I Want!!! Disappointed that just in few minutes after I called and drove there they just changed their mind. Bad service!!

Service was very slow, the place is small, but very nice and clean. Food was ok, I am Peruvian and I was craving a Lomo Saltado, it didn’t impress me, the flavor was ok, but I think they used a lot of the oyster sauce, we also ordered Arroz Chaufa and it was really good.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service was exceptional, and the entire place was very clean and well maintained.

A special thank you to Claudia and Karen, who took great care of us. They were extremely professional, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. Their positive attitude and attention to detail truly made the experience even better.
It’s always refreshing to receive this level of service. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great service in a clean and welcoming environment.

I come here very often with my family, and they never disappoint. The food is always amazing, full of flavor, and clearly made with love. The service is consistently great and welcoming, which makes us feel like family every time we visit. Everything, from the food to the atmosphere, is just amazing. Hands down one of our favorite spots and the best Peruvian restaurant here in PSL. Highly recommend!!
