My absolute favorite pizza is a mellow mushroom pesto pizza with roasted tomatoes and fresh mozzarella. Imagine my disappointment when I pay $25 for a large pizza, ($4 for the tomatoes specifically), and I get this in return. One sliced baby piece of tomato on each slice.
Im also not even sure the fresh mozzarella was there as we couldn’t taste it or see it like normal.
When I called, the manager let me know that this is the “mellow way”. I have never seen this before, so maybe this is a new corporate thing? But I will unfortunately not be visiting this location again, and if this truly is what mellow mushroom thinks we as consumers get for over $25, I won’t be visiting any of them ever again.

Went at 1pm on a monday and was the only table eating.
Everything was clean, music was perfect volume.
Waitress was kind and attentive, not over baring. Didnt need anything extra so.
Got the (new) great white, which was surprisingly good My father and I agreed.
Felt like it need a little more Robustness in the dough flavor itself.
Dough was soft and hot.
Cheeses all seemed fresh as well.
Definitely a great time/day for a lunch date!

My favourite pizza chain and my favourite branch in town! Absolutely love the vibe of the place and the service is top notch!
I really enjoy the ambience and the atmosphere, which is a great bonus on top of delicious pizzas!!
Would definitely recommend this to all the pizza lovers out there. The pizzas here are so good, I always end up devouring the crusts as well.
The prices are well justified by the quality and quantity of food, so it’s a big yay for me!

Out of all the chains (which I don’t eat much of because I prefer smaller independently owned pizza parlours) Mellow is by far my favourite. Their really is something else and I can’t think of a place quite like it. The food is excellent and the design and set up of the restaurants are quite unique. If you have not yet made your way into one of their restaurants, I highly recommend it.

Great place for pizza, salad, and wine or beer. Our group stopped in last night. We split a Greek salad which was really good. We also had a couple pizzas which aso were delicious. They have a great beer selection. We got a pitcher of Falcon Smash and Bud Light. Service was quick, too!

My experience at this restaurant was pretty much what I expected. It was packed, so I had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated and eat. I ordered three things: an appetizer called Loaded queso Dip, Taco Nirvana pizza, and a Spiked Mango margarita. I can say the appetizer was delicious – creamy with cheese and a touch of shredded chicken, and a little spicy kick. It was really good. The pizza was also delicious; however, I wouldn’t recommend getting this pizza with the appetizer because it uses the same sauce or cream, so it’s like eating the same thing twice. The cocktail was fresh, delicious, and well-presented, but I prefer to avoid spicy drinks, and this one had a bit of jalapeño, so I didn’t like it that much. The service was basic and normal, but the service itself was quick.

Came here for dinner with my parents and boyfriend and we really enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere! I love the vibes and decor of the whole restaurant and our server was really nice. Our food was a decent price, came out relatively quickly, and was delicious! Would definitely come back again the next time we visit Richmond

We had a large party but were accomadeted quickly. We had a great server who was very attentive, and our food was delicious. We chose Mellow Mushroom because our family has many dietary needs, including vegans,vegetarians, and family members with gluten allergies. They were very mindful with our gluten-free requests. They have a large menu with reasonable prices.
