El Taco Tote is a great place for authentic Mexican food. I really like the fact that they stay busy so their food is always fresh. They make their own tortillas and have a chip bar with fresh chips. The tacos and burritos are delicious, the salsa bar has a large variety of salsas, and pickled items; I specially like their guacamole salsa which is not spicy at all. They also serve fresh aguas frescas and I always get the sandia (watermelon) which is not too sweet. They serve other dishes as well by my preference are the tacos. Their menu offers family meals and the portions are generous! The place is crowded and busy must of the time, especially on weekends, but the food is very deliciousat a reasonable priceso totally worth it. Overall, if you’re looking for a great place for Mexican food, this is it.

Strong 3 star – good taste, fresh and great accompaniments. Beans are delicious! Flour and Corn tortillas were fresh and tasty. The pepper was pretty hot – and I wasn’t scared so I ate the whole thing.

I recommend the Tacotote Pack with Shrimp filling and Rice, the food was very nice with hot and flavorful shrimp. There is also a bar filled with flavorful spices for self service and the extra kick to your food experience. The refried beans were decent and the family platter with steak and shrimp and tortillas was delicious as well. Service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. I would totally recommend!

El Taco Tote hits that sweet spot between casual and quick. Yeah, you order at the counter and find a seat, so it’s got that fast-food vibe, but the atmosphere itself is actually pretty nice.
My wife and I went with the Family Platter for 2, and honestly, the portions were pretty small. We definitely needed to order two extra sides to feel satisfied. That said, the salsa bar is solid, and they’ve got self-serve tortilla chips and a soda fountain, which is always a win.
The food was good, no complaints there, but it wasn’t exactly mind-blowing, and the value felt a little off given the portion sizes. If you’re looking for some quick tacos and don’t expect to be wowed, El Taco Tote is a perfectly fine stop.

I couldn’t order for ten minutes because the employee kept walking away while I was talking. He got my order wrong three times. Despite my order being wrong, it cost way too much. The food itself wasn’t drained sufficiently, which demands the use of the salsa bar, which also isn’t as great. The only redeeming parts of this “establishment” were the tortillas being hand made, and the amount of meat in the taco. I spent most of my time eating, trying to make it taste good, but there wasn’t enough to reach any good flavor. The odor and general atmosphere were very much lacking, with what appeared to be more budget in the atmosphere of the workers than for the customers. You will find a better restaurant across the street.

Gris was great! I wasn’t sure what to order and she recommended the potato. She talked about it with such passion, I had to order it. It was the best potato I’ve ever had! The salsa bar is spectacular and you get to put on your own toppings! There were tour busses parked outside of this place and I can see why! No pictures because I ate everything!

Fresh food! Great service. Worth the wait. I went in to get tacos, ordered the special of the day instead. Green chili chicken enchiladas with rice, beans, and a drink for only 10.99! And WOW!! IT WAS SO GOOD. The green chili wasn’t spicy, but packed with flavor, the tortillas tasted fresh, endless salsa and toppings to choose from. I love the salsas. Beans were great, rice was too. I loved coming here. Everything I wanted and more. It hit the spot. Reminded me of how my sister makes her enchiladas. I will be back. I’ve only tried one plate so I have to rate it 8/10 ⭐ until next time!

Don’t be fooled by its humble exterior. This place is very unique and has a very fun Mexican atmosphere. Menu is simple to figure out and food was great. Can’t go wrong with self serve chips and salsa

I’m not an adventurous eater, more burgers and fries guy. Although I have burritos regularly I had never tried tacos, especially from an authentic spot. Since we were in the Southwest it seemed like the thing to do. Being old and white I stood out like a sore thumb. The employees couldn’t have been nicer. They were patient as we checked the menu board. They explained a few things to us and were busy cleaning up for the evening. It was a real cool experience for me and the food was delicious. The only negative was the monitors were playing an untalented youtube dj/?dancer? who although was playing Latin music had no connection to the culture.
