My friend and I discovered this spotless gem last week. We met Nicky , he was warm and friendly.As for the food , we loved it My friend has a delicious Rueben, the corn beef was sliced very thin, she said the best she had ever had. I had the turkey and pastrami on rye with coleslaw on fresh ryebread . It was so good that tonight we went back. She had the roast beef au jus. So tender. I had fish and chips with an egg cream. They have specials most days. Again I’m so impressed how clean this place is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️We will be back A must try

We went here after hearing great things about this restaurant! Didn’t disappoint we were greeted by friendly staff . Explained what they offer and what’s popular. We shared a pastrami sandwich came with a pickle and side of coleslaw! Very good. We also ordered a hot dog, knish , Reuben egg roll. Everything we ordered was excellent. The place is very clean and they offer many choice’s.

Holy Moly what a sandwich!! First time ordering, got the regular sized traditional sloppy with coleslaw and russian dressing. Very impressed how it was securely wrapped and I had to struggle to get one half! Will be enjoying the other half a little later! Sandwih was appropriately “sloppy”, rye bread was perfect for absorbing excess liquid….now to try some of the other goodies!!
Went a second time and got the reuben and as you can see ..it’s consistent and a fat sandwich, meat super tender!
I like the way they got a crust on the outside so it held up so well as take out
Tonight it’s the Cyclone Deluxe!!! Check that sandwich out!! Must be a pound of brisket!!

Service was great. Took my order super polite and all that. I think this boils down more for preference in a review like this. The pastrami to me tasted kind of bland and lacked juiciness. I think this is mainly because how thinly sliced the meat is. They did not skimp on the pastrami, it was certainly a fair amount, but for pastrami I think it should certainly be cut thicker to promote its higher qualities. Also, it was kinda luke warm. I tried it as soon as I got to the car so its not like I let it sit or anything either.

Came from North Brunswick to try 2 sandwiches, so glad we did. Excellent!!! The brisket sandwich was super tender, right amount of meat, the aujus as a dip was phenomenal tasting! The Reuben sandwich also excellent! Don’t know where any of these bad reviews came from as not a complaint from us. My husband picked up, said the owner was very personable, and the place was spotless clean. Very impressed. We definitely will be back.

Excellent and quick service. Amazing sandwiches and soups. Everything wrapped perfectly. Soups came wrapped in separate bags with homemade croutons. Sandwiches large and delicious. Coleslaw and macaroni salad great. So much too chose from.so many Mini pot pies. Knishes. Egg rolls. Latkes. Definately will be back.

Stopped in for takeout and wow—what a treat! We ordered three sandwiches (the Cornbeef JR, the Corned Beef/Pastrami combo, and the hot turkey) along with a beef barley soup. Everything was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. The meat was top-notch, the bread was perfectly soft, and the soup hit the spot (even my 10-month-old loved it, which says a lot!).
The shop itself was super clean and welcoming. Nick, the owner, is not only friendly but clearly takes a ton of pride in his business—and it shows in the food. If you haven’t tried this place yet, do yourself a favor and stop in. We’re officially hooked… consider us regulars from here on out!

Run don’t walk. This place is amazing. I had the Reuben sandwich and the cornbeef literally melted in my mouth. The side of coleslaw was so good I was mad that I didn’t just order a side. I also ordered a knish that didn’t disappoint.

Came here with my family and absolutely loved it. The store is beautiful and spotless. I ordered the pastrami sandwich—hands down one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The potato pancakes were completely off the charts. Can’t wait to come back!
