Had a delicious lunch at Vicky B’s in Manteo today. The loaded baked potato soup was perfectly creamy and absolutely delicious, and the grilled cheese on sourdough was so yummy and comforting. The restaurant itself is such a cute spot—beautifully decorated for Christmas with charming vintage decorations that make it feel extra cozy. If you’re in the area, take the time to give Vicky B’s a try—you won’t be disappointed.

I spend my summers here, so I’m always on the lookout for places that feel special but still comfortable — somewhere you can dress up for a romantic night out without it feeling stuffy or overpriced. We came for Valentine’s weekend and I was honestly blown away. From the moment we walked in, the service was attentive, kind, and genuine. Our server Dana was amazing. You can tell they truly care about their guests.
The menu had such a great variety — something for everyone — and everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It felt thoughtfully curated without being overwhelming, and the prices were more than reasonable for the quality. That’s rare to find, especially on a holiday weekend.
The atmosphere was cozy and charming, perfect for a romantic dinner. It had that magical small-town feel — intimate, welcoming, and full of heart. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just want a really great meal, Vicky B’s absolutely delivers.
